so, this is on the bubble in a freeroll ive got 13 bb i want to do more than just get in the money, but getting paid is important too. is this a really bad thing to do?

Overplayed your hand sir.. I think if you raise back then he re-raises you at least know your hand is beat or AT BEST a coin flip.

Uh ya, TT and you push 30k chips into prolly a 6k pot. Not a good play there

i had been a lot shorter, but stayed in by just shoving every couple of rounds, picking up blinds and antes. i think i got a lil overexcited as that was the biggest hand i had in an hour or so.

I definately would have called to see the flop off a 3k bet preflop. If i had a little more info on the table and how the preflop play had been playing i might have reraised too see if i got a call raise or shove. From there you could have seen a flop off a call, folded to a shove no way am i calling a 3 bet shove with tens. Or you coulda put more feeling into a raise again alot of that comes from what you observed at the table previously.

I can't argue with your play there. you were getting pretty short on blinds and 1010 is not a bad hand to push with hoping you don't get called and you increase your stack almost 50%. You have to weigh your options with the players. if you were stealing blinds quite a bit then you might get a preflop call and have to be prepared for a coin flip situation. You have to take more than just your hand into play. You have to take how the table has been playing and any image you have have developed into play as well

yes, i also think you overplayed your hand. But hey it happens to the best of us. I wouldve put a small raise out there to test the waters and if i am reraised a huge amount i would feel good that they have a good drawing hand or a higher Pocket pair. Just gotta learn from your mistakes i guess

another thing i forgot to mention, you were UTG +2? and flat shoved your whole stack with tens? limp em at that point there good for a limp and a call not a immidiate shove before you even kno what others did.. Maybe closer to the button but even then you easily coulda got 8th with what was left of the other guys chip stack.

There's really nothing much you can do with pocket 10's where the blinds are that high.

I would have played aggressive but not sure I would have put everything in on 10's, and it seems you were fairly far in the tournament which would make me leery about pushing it all.

yea,if i had pocket tens and blinds where high,then i would go all in too. just u got unlucky there.

as stated it was a over play but dont feel to bad we have all done it at one time or another.I myself have call allin just hitting the wrong key at the wrong time and here is not anything you can do but watch and pray..lol

i think you also overplayed if you got reraised you should have folded and waited for a premium hand

If your on the bubble and want to make the money at all cost just fold your hand and get blinded out.

Guy I know folded KK in the main event last year on the bubble.. He was SOMEWHAT short stacked..

Definitely just call with TT in that situation. Blinds are big, but there is no point in going all in

Pocket tens are risky cause a higher pair seems to flop on me all the time. I play em. bet em big early, if the flop works for me great. But if someone stays in on my preflop raise and bigger cards fall you're gonna get beat

Play TT is most likely a coin flip... Against monster, you lose. Against small pair, you win. Two over cards 50-50.... Get caught by AA is a reason for not being dumb.

echoed sentiments of those before me......overplayed........out of position............when i have those mid pairs i try to control the pot size as to give me a chance to get a set......

I agree with player earlier that stated you overplayed your hand. With him having you covered, would have been reasonable that he would not have raised preflop. After say a 2.5x raise, which he would have went over the top, red flags woulda gone up.

You were at 13bb most people don't realise that, when you're in that situation you should ALWAYS push TT.

That late and close to the bubble, usually even a minimum raise will get all the info you need. You already know that you can get ur chips in, you want info as to whether you should or not. Def overplayed.

with pocket 10 i just call, no raise, i wanna see a cheap flop,if there is an over pair on board,and some one bet , i fold,unless i flop a set.a lot of cards beat pocket 10's out there

I would push it since the odds is high for me to hits it lol, but also depending of much chips. Either I raise or just call.

i agree. it sounds as tho u wee expecting 2 get knocked out soon anyways & just trying 2 survive by stealing blinds. sumone else was just lucky enuf 2 have a hand that they had 2 call u with. even if u both had limped, if the flop was all low cards, u both would've pushed anyway.

Yeah you def overplayed this hand. Not much you can do blinds were big and it was most likely one of the best hands you would of seen down the stretch tough luck.
