In my points history it shows 4% - Promotions and is subtracting points.
What is this from? Why negative points? Thanks for any insight.

PM - admin Zab and him explain u all. :)
Its the cost of promotion ... in the long run if you play better than most you'll get more points back then you put in.
exactly, it is for all the promotions that we have run. The B2b, Pin the tail,etc.., it is just extra incentive if you are playing in the games, trust me, getting the points back are very simple.
The 4% deduction pays for the following promotions: Back2Back, Lottery, Pin the tail on the donkey, Grinder Challenge, 5 Points per Post, Golden Donkey, Whats working, KO the Champ, Leaderboard, Speedway, Player Ratings, Bubble Boy, Fantasy Poker extra 50 pts, $5 Daily Raffle.
It is a small price to pay.
so im guessing that the n00b is either incapable of looking for an FAQ section Or he/she is just going for points for posts O.o but yea as above really the clue is the name
I didn't even think to look it up in where the FAQ is. Honestly though points for posts encourage posting questions instead of looking them up. Maybe look at lowering the points for posts per day to pay for more/better promos?
That's awesome. Glad you are so engaged in the site instead of just trying to put it on auto pilot like so many promo sites! Let me use this chance to say thanks for making a fun poker community
anytime you earn points from surveys or any promotional offering they take away 4% of the points
the website uses those points for all the promos that they run....
all information needed in getting started
its used for different promotions like ko the champ, b2b, etc.
Has the discussion of lowering points for posts ever come up in the past? I can see the benefits to keeping people active, but if cutting the number of points for posts could add to more or better promotions I am curious what Zab or the active users of the site would think about this idea?
thanks for the information about the deduction in points from the promotion. i had the same question about it. thanks again.
the 4% or 3% subtraction points for using and getting points earned through surveys or whatever isn't the greatest.
im cool with the % being deducted if i earn the points for free but if im buying they should be tax free
Its like a tax/tariff, and its well worth it if you look at ALL the things its covers.
Since they are free point i dont have a problm with them taking a lil bit of them
indeed adm.zab will explaine everything you want....good luck everyone
Points are free but I'd like to know where the percentage goes
The 4% deduction pays for the following promotions: Back2Back, WSOPokerowned, Lottery, Pin the tail on the donkey, Donkey Derby, Grinder Challenge, 5 Points per Post, Golden Donkey, Whats working, KO the Champ, Leaderboard, Speedway, Player Ratings, Bubble Boy, Fantasy Poker extra 50 pts, $5 Daily Raffle.
promotion costs
Was wondering this myself. I enjoy all the promotions that PO runs.
thanks for all the promotions glad the points go to use!
4% is not bad and they always have great promos
i get that occasionally but really dont understand what it means
