worst beats at the tables

omg this is been a bad few days.I have been taking some incredible beats but this week has been ruff.Last night I was playing an MTT I had pocket AAs and limped.The button raises 2x the pot and I just call.Th flop comes 5QA with 2 clubs.I check and he checks.The turn comes a 5 and I check again.He bets a very small bet and I raise about the size of the pot.He shoves all in I snap call....sure enough he has quad 5s.That is my worst beat ever to this day.funny as im writing this I was playing an sng I had pocket qs and 3 of us limped into the pot.The flop comes Qk2 I checked the person in front of me bet then an all in I call and I have trip qqs against trip kks an pocket AAs sure enough the pocket AAs rivered an A too to make trip AAs against a set of qqs and kks.Just relentless.Im down to the last of my br but I dont let it get to me.Ive been improving and Ive got my money in 70% or better almost every time so Ill get passed these bad beats and hopefully make some money soon.Just want to hear your worst beat.

bad beats are part of the game , its because of bad beats i am not playing for atleast 24hr 2day , lost 3 touneys to a series of bad beats

had pocket kings caught trips on the flop. other guy had Q10 got runner runner for the straight. OUCH

Try Omaha. I had my quad tens beat by a royal straight flush. It was brutal.

had Aces and my opponent shoves with A6 preflop, then catch 2 clubs on flop and 2other on turn and river to make flush.

I remember playing with some friends at my place, i am short-stacked i go all in with 88, and the chip leader calls me with J 7, i don't know why, and the board was 9 A 10 A 10. He beats me with J high! :D If he paired his Jack i wouldn't be so pissed, but this was ridiculous.

yes, never limp big hands (unless you have solid reads on villain obv)

I had pocket rockets two time in a row and lost both of them and was knocked out of the tournament

I think the worst beats are when you have a fullhouse and someone else comes in with a better one. Those are a bankroll losers. Gets ya right in the gut.

this is almost routine when I have pocket kings... its either runner runner for a straight, or they backdoor the flush... or they have middle pair and call down and catch 2 pair on the river. I lose more with pocket kings than I do any other hand especially because no matter what I raise preflop, from a min bet to shoving all in, anyone and everyone with an ace in their hand will call and there is always an ace on the flop.

So today I played this 300 people freeroll. I started out tight, playing 10 percent of starting hands. And this guy kept shoving all in for like seven times in a row, so I decided to try and catch him. I get dealt QJs on the button, he shoves, everyone folds, and I call. He had 84o, and caught a STRAIGHT on the FLOP! So there it is. :D

Those are brutal beats, but part of the game. One bad beat that happened recently was my AA vs AK, big raise preflop, on the flop, Q2J, I push all in, he calls, I think an 8 comes, but I know the river was a 10. I was knocked out, and a bit upset.

Those are very tuff beats but you know better. Its not always gonna happen and you did nothing wrong. You had very good hands and just got merged. Youll get it back. I been lucky and have not had many bad beats lately. Sure they will come.:rolleyes: GL

they happen get over it and prepare yourself for the next hand.....everyone loses. its how you recover is how well you will do in poker.

bad beat or part of the game... you must know how to face it and then you can overcome them:)

online bad beats common and especially on merge seems underdog always hits a shame
