Good explanation of the EV in this scenario. Thanks for sharing!
Good post but my response is: anyone who limps (especially in early position) with 10 or less big blinds is a poor poker player.
Great post, ty for sharing this.
thanks for posting the video I never seen that one before pretty interesting. I think Daniel is a great poker player. Good luck on the tables today guys!
you should never limp with less then 10bbs!
Shoving is always the move when u r theat short on blinds!!
Good post. I had something very similar written up at one point but decided not to post it because, well...don't tap the glass.
But this entire concept is really Poker 101 these days, not considered an advanced idea whatsoever. Watch the higher-buy-in tourneys in their entirety (I've done many ghosting sessions and sometimes just watch a couple solid regs from start to finish) and you'll see that NONE of those players is trying for a min-cash (squeaking in the bubble, stalling, etc) and NONE allow themselves to drop below the unexploitable-shove point.
Great job of explaining it for simple minds, but alas, those are exactly the minds that will skim over it and not grasp the concept anyway.
