small buy in rebuys
that first hour and 10 minutes is heck for those of us that dont have a 100 rebuys to just gamble all day and then in the event you do make past the first hour then all those short stacks can just add on be ain the runnings with everyone else because they have the money , I like the low limit rebuys but in the same token I prefer one buy in and then ride on your skillls:rolleyes:
-
Ill never play low limit rebuys ever again stick to medium limits and up its taken a little more seriously ... and if you wait for the nuts you can cash in on the rich kids.
-
with these low buy in rebuys you just need hang in there till the rebuy period is over then the game starts and these players that go allin every hand are gone or stop pushin cause they cant get back in.
-
Personally, I like the rebuy because it balanced out luck and skills. For example, your skills is 8 and your opponents are at 4. Luck might be not on your side when you go all in w/ KK and then the flop gives your opponent a straight. That's bad luck. the rebuy could help you get back in the game and eventually the probability of your skills overcomes bad luck would let you get into the bubble. Therefore, I like the rebuy and trying my best to build my BR to get to do some more rebuy torunies.
-
I also like the rebuy because for a smaller buy-in will turn into a bigger prize pool. If luck is on your side and you get the right cards before rebuys is over you will have a big stack and not be rebuying. If you lose, you lose. You lost a small buy-in, but it is worth the risk to me because of the big prize pool if you do go far into the tournament.

rebuys Are bad, big pockets always win
-
I have never been a fan of rebuys, it just gives people that make bad choices and create anger in the game to come back into at a discount usually. Though I have played rebuys tournys with the full intent that I will never rebuy because I know that the people that I knock out and the people that get knocked out around me will come back and they will play and do the same mistake that they did that made them get out. That is something that is huge when reading back into the loss of a player and finding that same error again when they play against you. It can be useful but I am more of a one buy in kind of guy.
-
I am not a fan of rebuys either. It takes forever to get past everyone going all in on q4 or 97s crazy

Right now I am playing in a low buy in rebuy on UB. Personally I think the first hour is a donkament, and then it gets serious.
-
One approach recommended to me for rebuys is this:
- Do the first rebuy immediately so you start with double the chips.
- Do not play ANY hands for the first hour.
- At the break pay for the Add-on.
- Start playing like a pro!

y rebuy into a smaller tourny to begin with...alot of donks neway, so y waste ur money...just an opinion...
-
Are you going to play as a moron in a small rebuy tourney?
I have seen a lot of player doing that and I'm not the one that doing it.
Think of a plan of how much rebuy you going to do each tourney including your bankroll.

-
rebuys are good because there is always players who add a litle money to prize pool .
-
You can search for tournaments with small Rebuys but have a good reward to risk
-
personally, i like rebuy games as i could add on more chips and also grab as much chips from donkeys as possible. yes, you usually would spend much more than you expected, but think of it as investment :)
-
sometimes , ppl join rebuy tourneys but don't rebuy once , just don't understand what the point in joining those tourneys if u are not going to rebuy :) lol
-
sometimes is good to go all in with lower cards if you can make a rebuy, but only in the begining...
-
I dont like rebuy tournaments because a lot of donks play their poker hands like donks because rebuys!

I don't do rebuys. If I am spending the time to play. I try to play with equal amount with every1 and play by skill (yes luck can come into play also). I would spend my rebuy money in a tourney wirth wild. :)
-
the only time i will play a rebuy add-on game is if it is a guarantee game with 10.00 or higher buyin.peeps seem to take the game more seriously and come closer to playing poker, not bingo.
-
I really love playing Fulltilts rush re-buys. I play very loose and try to make sure i can get in the top ten in chips by the first break. You might have to re buy 10 times but the payoff will be better in the end.
-
I like rebuy tourneys especially because of the fact that everyone is splashing around a lot.
If u play tight in that phase, it should be easy to build a good stack and have a good stack after R+ phase.
-
i usually buy in towards the end of the first hour if possible with these try to double up off an idiot then double add on and play tighter with the real players after the rebuy and add on period
-
I tend to do well on the low limit rebuys 5 and under. I always start with double stack if i can limit myself to 2 rebuys and usually always do the double add on.
-
I like playing as soon as possible because a lot of donks play these and you can get a quick doubleup and if you get sucked out. Also, I like to stick to, 1 rebuy (so I have double the chips) 1 buy in ( if i get out) and 1 add on (obvious) to play with so i play with 4 buyins
