Yes, dosaa7 that was a great fold. Nice decision you made there.
Great fold ! Not always easy to lay down good hands !
Though it's not an easy fold for some, it's the correct play at this point. I could question both the pre-flop play and the decision to post it here and not in the cash & tourney discussion forum, but I suppose it pays to advertise.;)
nice fold dude bravo
Solid read. Solid play. Awesome job bro. This thread belongs in the bragging section.
You're reraise was questionable. It worked out for you but I think in the long wrong it's a mistake. Why not bet the flop though?
On hand 1 why did you check raise? By check raising you are just putting in more chips in the pot than you have too without an actual hand. Open raising on the turn would have been optimal.
Lets look at it this way and pretend you open raised the turn instead.
If he has a King he is not folding, thus you can get away from a re-raise without putting more chips than necessary in the pot.
If he has a small pair a simple open raise on the turn would take down the pot, no need for fancy check raises.
If he is bluffing with garbage its unlikely he will re-raise you on a board that you probably connected with, a KQ board.
If he has a Queen then that's the only hand you can outplay with a check-raise. Though not everyone would fold here.
So you see a simple open raise would have taken care of most holdings. and done it without committing more chips than necessary. and I didn't even mention his possible flush draws or sets which you would have found yourself in a precarious situation.
I think there is nothing to discuss, things happen in the way he plays his chips and was wrong to defend your game ... regards
That last hand. IDK man. A triple barrel on a board where he probably has something better is questionable. He's not folding a J, hes not folding a T and he's not folding a queen. Then again you probably know that.
