On Merge, what's the downside of the $1.08 double up SNGs? I'm sure there's an obvious one that I'm missing. The rake is lower than the other dollar SNGs, they take less time to play so you can get more games in, paying top 5 reduces variance. What's the big reason I shouldn't be grinding these? Is it because better players can build a BR much faster with top 3 payout format games?

Your ROI in DON's is going to be lower than other SNG's, basically because of the flat payout. You would need an insane win rate to make playing those profitable, both short term and long term.
