It depends on comfort level. You need to build up to whatever you can do profitably. On stars and ft, I could 4 table rush or 12 table 6 max. Not bragging. It is the only way to make money at lower and mid stakes. GL

I'd love a HUD, but I don't think they have HEM2 for mac. Plus, I'm really trying not to put ANY money into poker in any way. So I'll learn slowly and hopefully make enough of a profit to buy a HUD with winnings in the next few months.
4 seems ideal to me if you're really trying to manage your tables and not simply maximize the number of tables you play at once. Of course, the more tables the more profits, but not if it becomes overwhelming, annoying, or otherwise detracts from your game.
When I am playing freerolls I can play a bunch, probably because I don't care as much if I am gonna get donked and my hands are the same. Monsters early then grind it out at the end. I have found that in some cases you can win a ticket for a funstep just by sitting there and not playing anything. Cash tables I have tried to play up to 4 but have found that I can't see how all players at all tables are playing and have gotten confused on who I can bluff etc. I think 2 is the best for me. Good luck on the felts!
I most often play 2 because I can stack them on the right side of the screen while doing something else (usually work) on the left. My work screen overlaps the tables, but I make my preferred seating such that I can see when I have a play to make. When we are down to the final table, I will give all my focus to the table.
if im playing cash games i will not play any more than 3 but freerolls or fun plays ill have 6 or 7 going
when i have two monitors and a fast computer available, i can 16 table. but i prefer 1 table, cause i like paying close attention n such
I tried 1 table a few times and that went horrific..................
I normally play 4 Zoom tables with a couple of MTTs on the side. I can do up to 12 regular tables.
u play as many as u can handle
how many depends on if they are cash or tourney tables.I highly reccomend playing plo and plo8 at the same time with same amount of seats... LoL
i can comfortable handle 4-6 tables but i believe 1 table is the best for us all
When I have the money for it i will play 6 tables at once. My game will drop when I play more.
Ask yourself this..."How bad do I want to win?" If it's a MTT, the answer is one. You hear stories of cash game players doing it 10 tables at a time, and that's wonderbar if you know enough math to make it all go along and play like you are a machine. But even for them, they end up losing a lot of hands they shouldn't, becasue you just cannot get a good feel for 90 players (ten tables, 9 handed) at once. But the wins more than cover it, so they look like poker Gods. So, how many? At what point does your game suffer? Ok with 4, not so good with 5? There is your answer. Good Luck.
Im playing 12 tables, when im playing mtts, when cash its like 16~~
play 4 to start off with until you get more comfortable and can handle more tables. playing loads of tables, even if freerolls, and end up loosing will create very bad habits which will only get harder to change.
Depends on what is running at the time and what my bankroll is like. But 2 is more then enough for me.
It's hard for me not to mess up playing more than two. I have done four and didn't place on but one. I can focus on two tourneys at once and still do well. Tend to donk more when playing more than two. Donkeys get lucky some, but not enough.
I usually like to run at least 6-10 myself, but im feeling pretty comfortable playing 8 at a time!!
I play 6 to 8 tables at a time, like to play a lot in once
when i play a cash session i normally play up to 6 tables at once, not more because somtimes my internet goes down and if you play many hands in that moment it can be quiet expensive ;)
I play best at 4or5 tables but wll ply upt to 10
The most I currently play is about 4. Usually I always have 2 cash games going (Earning vip points) and then I select something from the upcoming tourneys / freerolls / sngs worth the investment. If nothing is available, more cash game fun!
I never play more than 3 at once, and that's only when there's 3 events going on I can't miss
5 is max that I play..............................................
Heads up i like to play 1 tournament. Most I ever played at once was 39, but they were double or nothings.
It really depends on what you are most comfortable with. Keep working your way up though, the more the better!
i don't like trying to keep up with more than 4 at a time
It depends on your limitations. Remember you need to study your opponents, and it will be very difficult on many tables. Doing good in poker requires a lot of hard work
I tend to run 4-5 MTT's at once. Anything over that and my play starts to suffer. Another tip Ive found that works well is try not to buy into a lot of tourneys with the same start time so that you avoid having to make multiple big decisions deep in tourneys. I agree with pat that if you cant keep up with multiple tables dont play them! In the past playing full ring cash games and have some sort of tracking software like HEM I could handle 7-8 tables comfortably amd profitably. Had horrible cash game run lately tho even single tabling lol.
nice
I think it depends on the tournament caidad for example.
0.02 cents tournaments hata fter 5 tables are more expensive but if you try to limit the amount of tables
It's usually around 3 or 4. But, if it's a freeroll, like when the steps used to be at carbon, i could do 7 to 10. For you, if the buy in is high, maybe focus on that one with another going on, but don't try to do too many.
I played usually two, fifty50 sit & go's at PS with max $7 buy-in, 4-5 tournaments at a day...You have to make it to the last five players (with the biggest stack lol)
1-5 tables maybe more
i like to play about 4 tables plus or minus two. If I'm in the zone and have the bankroll I'll play up to 9
when i am playing sngs... I only have 10% of my bankroll out at a time(what if you lost interent connection or some other unforseen emergency where you have to sit out of all of them) I am comfortable at 10, but could prob push it to twenty without suffering too much ROI with my reads to maximize my profit while playing.
