Hey guys, just curious, how do you like to approach free roll tourneys. Especially with players that will shove in the beginning with anything
I try and play every game pretty much like its a nice sized buyin. It doesnt work well in freerolls but i have learned to loosen up just a bit early on. Avoid the shovers unless you have a good hand and even then they are going to get you LOL
The shovers aren't as crazy as we like to think, as doubling up early a couple times is a great way to cash in these free-for-alls.
Just play tight... Wait for big hands.. And play em aggressively..... And hope u dont get donked in the process
Build a stack early and prey on the donkfest you are going to witness.
If its one of these freerolls, then approach it like any real money tournament. Great players, crap players and everything in between
double up quick off all the all inners.....

i approach a freeroll usually like any other tournament, witha blunt in hand ashtray near and most of the time a beer or a mixie drink close by

Depends on what kinda table you start with. The all in players are everywhere, so maybe it's best to fold and call with good hands if not, just play your game.
first of all there are different types of freerolls if your talking about large public freerolls like bc 10 dollar on demand, were there are 600 players I try to build a stack in the beginning allin AJ and up.If your talkin about PO I try to try to survive as long as possible and hope for monster cards when the blinds are big.
it all depends on the time levels of the blinds if its 10or 15 min per blinds play tight nothing but pemium hands aakk qq and ak suited nothing else but if its a turbo then u have to play a little bit more hands but make sure ur in position
Play it like you would for any tournament. Play to win
I always play the freerolls like a idiot! I know a lot of people here hate me for it but I find it hard to concentrate especially when I can just go allin and wait till I get a nice chip stack to play serious!
I think people that play freerolls like normal buy in games r idiots, but thats just my opinion!
