cause they are trying to make you to fall but it is very risky
i agree it is dumb play!! u can raise and get them to fold! and not risk the chance of losing stack in one hand!! maybe some of them are just bored and ready to get the game over with!!
Heads up is sort of an art, but i hate it. I prefer 6-max
Some does that only cause they know they su** in heads up so they try to go on for a luck
I actually have had my aces cracked in $2 sit n go by someone like that. Couldn't fade some off suit rags. lol
yea some people dont know what they're doing and just try to ship it when they think they'll be called by lighter, or they're literally just praying to win...it's irritating as shyt but you gotta deal with it
Some people do it, hoping that after a few hands of them doing that with rags, they'll wake up with a hand and someone will call light because they have been doing it.
I tend to play tight for the first 2 levels and than find myself opening up my range too wide it gets me into trouble. HU really comes down to whose more aggressive with the right hand. Plus a little bit of luck hehe

Heads up is super fun, reminds me of black jack in the sense that you are involved non-stop. I'd be super aggro in heads up and pay attention so you can adjust accordingly.

I see that often too, but a lot of people do it. They want to dominate you, and want to win small sections of your stack every hand.

lol yeah just donks hoping they can make it somewhere I b?t there overall profit sucks hella bad. but it ruins it for some of us who aren't rich enough to just throw money in the toilet and are trying to have fun with our winnings
There are definitely players who are extremely profitable with HU play, because they can pick up on the small things. And if you are going to win tournaments, at some point its almost guaranteed you'll have to play HU, unless you can knock out 2 people in one hand, which can be hard to do. I've done well HU, but I've also lost my ass HU.
Actually, if you take note of the name and then look at a half-dozen other heads-up games going simultaneously, you'll probably see the same person in many of them. I think their strategy is to play a bunch of HU tourneys at the same time, going all-in every hand, and figure they'll win more of them than they lose. I have absolutely no idea if that is logical or in any way supported by the odds, but I have noticed that kind of player being regged for multiple HU games at the same time.
