Depends on the scenario, some are similar.. Most are different.
I'm still learning how to play cash games well... I can only afford to play them online and ususally end up getting a little too loose and playing lower suited one gappers and end up with some questionable calls or folds. In tournaments I seem to be able to let things go unless i hit a monster with the lower end gappers.
I do play cash differently than tournaments.. because tournaments my loss is the entry fee.. cash my loss could be the bankroll...
I play cash a little more tighter than a tourney, because when you get down to it, your going to waste money more so than a tourney.
yea of course! You have to play different! Toattaly different game!
Most of the time tournament play is a good way to start before you get a feel for the actual players at the table. Alot of people at cash games are far too aggressive and theres many situations where you can take a nice pot off these types of people.
i usually bot both pretty tight but i do seem to do a bit more gambling on a tournement.
If you don't play diff..then it will cost u more money....
you have to play different, because its 2 different games!
