Blind stealing his my number one tip. Either raise big or push with a decent hand in late position. Also defending your blinds is a big part of my deep in tournament strategy. If someone raises and it is folded to you, you can pretty much call with any hand because of the chips you already have invested and hopefully make a play on them as they most likely didn't hit the flop. This might not work in a freeroll setting as most of the players will play extremely loose. Good luck!

This blind defense strategy is near flawless if you can pick up betting patterns
you have to play loose on carbon or any online client since they are all donk friendly to help the inexperienced players
thanks for the tips and one have and for chip management for that lvl generally playing loose is whats my downfall.....what kind of hands do you prefer to play loose with and other factors really up for any advice(have a carbon accolade so not like I havent won one just havent been playing my best poker so up for advice)
it's all about gaining chips without being at risk in the late stages.
just win the last hand of the tournament. only one that matters
if only it was that easy....lol understand your concept though
Needless to say I have a hard time going deep,,, I try changing my style of play and sometimes go a little futher...
Well, I've personally played a couple carbon $200 freerolls myself. The levels increase very fast. It's very hard to build a chip stack and when you do, the blinds start catching up. You just have to find the right timing and use that to your advantage. Waiting for good cards can be a mistake, but you shouldn't play too wide of a range of hands.
position is also huge in the late stages , not that it isn't in the beginning or middle of the tourney but i feel it is more important towards the end.
Lolz dont get so stressed over it or your emotions will cause u to make a mistake, just relax and play your best hands untill u build a big chipstack then start being a bully some ppl might say and u will do fine!
thanks for the tips everyone been helping so far a little .....lately I been just losing my share of coin flips that late so other than that doing good
Ya pretty much to win a freeroll youll need to have some luck on your side
There are too many donkies in freerolls, there's nothin you can do, you just have to play ur best.
yea know the feeling,to many cry babys to you get lucky and draw out on someone or hit a 4 outer and you here cry about how your some donkey who doesnt belong there
building stack with all possible chances. blind steal+re-steal pushes+ squeezes

its important to try and play position all the time, even if that means folding AJ type hands to a raise, because if you dont flop a pair your just gonna check fold. also trying to steal at least one pot a round ensures your maintaining your stack, plus when u actually get a hand youll likely get 3 bet bc ppl will assume your stealing
stay tight and aggressive and pray too the poker gods to get a little lucky.
Good advice, I railed you when you won it so I got some good tips
I liked the bind defending strategy but I think it's too much risky :S
If it's a freeroll don't worry if you lose, you don't lose anything :D
Get chips without too many risks. And sometimes u have to take risks in going all in-without getting called a lot.
Ya, when I made it deep a lot of players froze up because of the prospect of real money, so blind stealing and be aggro in LP is key to winning.
