I think the best way to maintain a bankroll is not playing lol
exactly on trying to build it slowly. Will give you more gametime and will allow you to adjust your play... goodluck and hope you succeed
I dropped back off, I almost went broke. I got down to 0.90, now I'm back to 3.30. we'll see how it turns out........:p
There is no such thing as BR management if your account is like under $20. some people say even under $50.
Correct there really isn't much bankroll management if your under $20. Pretty much everything is a risk. But you can still follow sound rules to avoid risk of ruin. Try these rules, they work real well.
"1. Never ever get into a cash game or SNG tournament where the buy in is more than 5% of the entire bankroll that you have. You can break this rule in case your bankroll is very small and you are going to play a Sit and Go or cash game where the buy in is lower than $2.5
2. Don’t join a MTT (Multi Table Tournament) where the buy in is higher than 2% of your current bankroll. By not risking you will be able to keep a lot of your money intact. This rule applies unless the buy in at the tournament lower than $1.
3. In case you have managed to win at a cash game and your money that you have at the table represents more than 10% of your online poker bankroll, then you should cash out of that table the moment the blinds are going to reach you." Chris Ferguson
read chris fergusons tips on bankroll management very good information.
Google search. the stairway to bankroll. that should give you a clear image on how bankrolling works..
Back up to about $ 30.00 :D. I believe there is always a Bankroll management even if it is 20,50, or what ever. This may not sound like a lot, but if even if you have nothing, you're trying to build up correct? (The idea of free rolling) With $20, You could join two $10 buys and not cash! On the other end, you could cash and win say $200 or what not. I think the idea of BR is to keep building with out losing the majority of your roll.
or just throw a couple grand on there and play the big stakes and hope like hell you win. LOL
