Aces cracked
I just finished up the 10 pm poker owned tournament over on carbon and I finished in 14th place.
With these po tourneys it seems that it actually gets a little easier as you get deeper into the tournament.
The whole point on posting this is I got knocked after I went all in with a pair of aces. The other guy had 98 diamonds I think and he made his straight. I don't think the guy was a donk because he had a much larger stack than I did, but still to call a raise of ten or more big blinds with 98 suited I think is outrageous.
I feel that made the right move so I'm happy with my performance, I didn't lose because of a stupid play on my part.
BUT MY PAIR OF ACES GOT CRACKED BY 98 SUITED!

yea PO tournaments are a great way to build a bankroll from scratch

A big pair getting cracked by suited connectors isn't all that uncommon. I however, have had Kings cracked by 83.

I just played the po 10 pm freeroll on carbon and again I go all in preflop and the guy that called had 87 suited.
Once I saw his hand i thought to myself 'its going to happen again' and of course it did.

Well, I took the win in the 4PM today, and did it with AA :D some times, they actually hold up ! However, I agree that if I am to choose any hand to face AA, it would be suited connectors, 10-J and below.

I have them more cracked than uncracked. I prefer AK myself.

don't feel too bad, I just finished the 10pm carbon on the bubble with AA vs their QK.. I hate aces sometimes, damn setup rng slot machine.
