It's considered the best hand...but I prefer double suited str8 cards...i.e. 8910J....:)
Pre flop all-in it's the best hand, but usually people from Europe would prefer it over AAKK. The reason behind that is that it's easier to get rid of 6789 if it doesn't hit. Pre-flop though, percentage wise you should always want AAKK.
I am from European but don't really like having AAKK, you over if you can't hit it since you can't get a flush.

I fold A-A-K-K great hand for holdem but omaha better chance with straight cards or connectors. Just my opinion. I made more at omaha than I did at holdem ring games at stars.Quote:

AK57 double suited for me statistically speaking the most chance of hitting either a straight or a flush with this hand plus if ure playing hi/lo gives u a very good chance of hitting that lo
