Recent Change at Carbon and Aced in Visa Deposits

Since most of the PO players profess to NEVER need to deposit on Carbon or Aced, this post may be of little interest to you. However, for anyone else who isn't a huge winner all the time and never deposits, you should be aware that Carbon and Aced can no longer process ANY deposits attached to a US bank. I have had no problems depositing on Carbon over the past year, but they no longer have a US based Visa processor and I can't find any US based Visa prepaid card that works. This change has only occurred in the last month, and it's very clear that Carbon has lost it's ability to work with any processor of Visa cards that might somehow be tied into a US bank. If you know different and have a suggestion of something that has worked in the past few days I would love to know about it. Otherwise, the other 98% of you PO winners who never lose or deposit, I don't expect to hear from you. You're all too good for the small percentage of us who don't win everyday.

western union reloadable visa cards work. they sell them at 7-11

i assume you've used 1 in the last few days if you answered that..
but yes thanks to PO i wont have to deposit money on carbon again. infact, i won my money back haha thanks PO

i used my netspend visa to deposit on 8/29/13 u can order it free , also i have always used my greendot in the past

mail a western union check to them. i did it and it work. although it take up to 3 weeks

i went broke on carbon right now and woild never ever deposit moeny there tho, now:) even i c ant play much there now........

Went to 7-11 and bought Western Union Card. Still won't work. The card I've been using for over a year was a PayPower card. Both PayPower and Western Union are authorized by MetaBank which will not accept any transactions from the new processor that Carbon/Aced are now using. I talked to PayPower yesterday and the name of the processor on all 5 of my deposit attempts was the same. However, the name of that processor is different than the processor of every deposit I've made over the past year. So, it is my belief that MetaBank cards will no longer work.

I'm not going to say your wrong, but I don't see how a Netspend card worked. They also are authorized by MetaBank, but I have 2 active Netspend cards, so I'll try one of them and get back as to whether it works.

I didnt know of any pre paid cards that work!!

I used to always use netspend, until they stopped international transactions!

the Vanilla cars worked for awhile too! Now I have no idea what to use! Tell me if you find something that works!

I think that Carbon has become very reg infested. I really have not played Carbon in a couple of weeks. If they had P2P transfers, it would be a different story. I prefer Bovada, but I really can't put too much money on there atm. I am playing Lock. Lock has some of the softest mtts and ring games I have seen. I am going to attempt to cash out there with CardChats help, and if I can't, I will just sell @ market rate. At least Lock still has P2P transfers and a lot of different games. BCP/ACR has P2P transfers, but they have very few mtts, and about 75% + are over $11. The only thing I am excited about on Carbon is there Poker Maximus series upcoming. I am hoping to win a higher BI coupon and play a good mtt there. It is a pretty sucky USA poker climate atm.

I used my walmart prepaid visa last night with not a single problem. went through in about 30 seconds.

hope this doesn't happen to bovada

I would think it would work, you'd just have to pay international transaction fees, but I don't know, I never deposit.

I give up. I've spent $17.00 buying different prepaid Visa cards and none of them work. Netspend doesn't work, Western Union doesn't work, and WalMart doesn't work. I'm done with MERGE forever. They are fucking SCUM!! I hope those bastards go broke and the sooner the better. They take FOREVER to cash out from, and you can't make a deposit there. FUCK MERGE!!

western union reloadable visa cards are sill working as of 9/11/2013on the merge cashier. really fast and easy. $3.95 reload fee. no monthly fees after that. you can get them at any 7/11. call ahead of time to see if they are in stock. these cards are very popular. went to 7-11 today and they were sold out. good luck

weird that a prepaid visa would work still. I only had tried one time on cabon deposit and i used western union worked. had to deposit 100 worth but that was a while ago. I'll never deposit at carbon again though. horrable customer service. I really wanna try bovada but not sure what to use there. The only visa i tried didn't work. any suggestions.

I deposited $20 for shits and giggles tonight on merge ( carbon ) with a netspend card. worked just fine. you have to make sure you have atleast a dollar more than you are tring to deposit in your netspend account as they charge $1 for every transaction. ripoff. Bovada accepts most cards. Just about any Bank debit card works
