are random number generators really random?
i think that it would be possible to do 52 cards shuffled and just use that instead of generating random cards after evry action.....any other thoughts?

the first site to use live dealers actually shuffling the cards themselves....will get my business
i have yet to see a random number generator that was worth a crap but what can you do
i guess they have us held at gunpoint........can we do anything???
go to a casino lol
nothing "virtual" is axactly the same as the "real" thing, but maybe they can get really close to it.........IF THEY WANT SO.........:)
one prob i see is they have a tendency to to latch on to one player and give him/her the cards they need no matter what they have in their hand
digital black jack and roulette at a casino seems like its set up... if zero has not hit in awhile and you consistently bet on it... its going to hit..
I read somewhere that 7 shuffles is random not 6 not 8 just 7 and online number generators are no where near close to random, they only do what they are designed to do..
How do u prove randomness? I honestly don't know if you can.

From Wikipedia
There are two principal methods used to generate random numbers. One measures some physical phenomenon that is expected to be random and then compensates for possible biases in the measurement process. The other uses computational algorithms that can produce long sequences of apparently random results, which are in fact completely determined by a shorter initial value, known as a seed or key. The latter type are often called pseudorandom number generators.
A "random number generator" based solely on deterministic computation cannot be regarded as a "true" random number generator, since its output is inherently predictable. How to distinguish a "true" random number from the output of a pseudo-random number generator is a very difficult problem. However, carefully chosen pseudo-random number generators can be used instead of true random numbers in many applications. Rigorous statistical analysis of the output is often needed to have confidence in the algorithm.
woww....really nice research for a post Pooffy.......Attachment 1477
I think that every online Poker room shuffling cards to make pot bigger and rake.
