its only rigged when you lose,right
This rigged stuff isn't new don't play there is you feel that way
i also have a long list with all sites about poker.
If you think online poker is rigged dont play it. Online poker is checked and confirmed many times by companies.
Seriously. We all get bad beats, and it's natural to want to vent, but if you honestly think the software is rigged it makes absolutely no sense to play.Quote:

People who say "this would never happen live" or "this could only happen on PS, FT, etc", either haven't played live, or aren't good enough to understand that these things happen.
These are a few of the things I, or close friends, have seen live:
AA vs JJ cash game, flop Axx, AA goes all in on flop, and gets called by JJ, who hits runner-runner quads.
Two royal flushes within five hands on the same table. Both of them were behind on the flop and hit runner-runner for their royal.
AA vs QQ vs TT vs KJ in a tournament. Flop was AQT and all four players were all-in on the flop. KJ held up and knocked out three players.
I've had AA four times in the same tournament within 40-50 hands. This happened again to me at the same venue the next time I played there.
Straight flush vs straight flush. Two players were all-in on the river after they both rivered a straight flush (one had the upper straight and one the lower straight).
I play live tournaments 2-3 times a week and have done so for the last 5-6 years, so I've seen the most amazing bad beats and hands.
like i said before you play more hands in internet poker and because of that you will see alot more of the screwed up crap to make you think it is rigged but aside from that the random number generators seem to get locked in to one or 2 players sometimes and it doesn't matter what they have in their hand they get what they need hand after hand
I don't know why this is an eternal online poker discussion when it is SO EASY to settle it. Just get your hand histories, crank them through a statistics program of choice, and then you'll know with a certainty of, say p < 0.05 whether or not PS is rigged. Let us know what you come up with.
Poker IRL is a lot easier to rig, IMO.
ETA: Not that I think big casino poker games are routinely rigged, either. They have too much to lose. However, I have seen all kinds of angle shooting, rigging, and flat out cheating in home games. What kind of degen cheats at his friend's house?
A bit off topic, but relates to the post above. Someone I know, I wouldn't call him a close friend, but he's on my FB friend list at least, was going to play a tourney at a local casino. Before the tournament started someone else noticed he was missing 1000 chips (out of 10000) and the person I know, also known as Pop-up, had 1000 chips more than everyone else. Pop-up claimed the dealer must had made a mistake when counting all the chips, but the floor manager looked through the CCTV and lo and behold, saw Pop-up taking chips from the stack next to him. Needless to say, he was escorted off the premises and banned from the casino. :)
I don't think its rigged maybe your just going through a downswing.. or maybe you just suck.. Most people that suck say sites are rigged. Like Carbon poker.. that is the only rigged site around here.. :p lol. And no I do not suck. and PS is not rigged. I made so much cash on that site it was insaneQuote:

I know man pokerstars is rigged forsure! All in with pocket aces lost and forsure it is rigged because the guy had JQ and he won, such riggness.
pokerstars is not rigged....1 of the best sites around period...
that is just poker my friend. Sometimes your up and sometimes your down.

That said; I have had pocket pairs dealt to me back to back many times on a variety of sites. A few times I've even had them dealt consecutively 3-5 times in a row on several sites. Although PS is not a site I play on (US player) I have still seen this quite frequently. Remember we are dealing with a mathematical algorithm which will probably never be 100% random. I can only recall 2 or 3 times my entire life being dealt pocket pairs back to back, yet alone 3 or 5 times in a row!
That does not automatically prove OLP is rigged! Sometimes the more complicated a process is the less realistic its results become.

for the people who believe its rigged, why play? you're probably the type that gets dealt aces and shoves into 4 callers, then one of those callers makes a real hand then you claim its rigged because thats the only logical explanation in your mind that your mighty one pair got beat.
