Yep, staying away from a game with such a marginal edge even when playing by house rules is the right idea. There are so many idjits on the poker tables, the edge makes a mob house look like amateur philanthropists.

1 deck -0.06344% you have edge
2 deck 0.20181%
6 deck 0.35767%
8 deck 0.37642%
I am someone that has walked out with over 10,000 dollars a bunch playing 2 deck BJ. If you learn card counting all these will favor you. Problem with carbon BJ the rules say 8 Decks in shoe, shuffled every hand
Shuffling every hands with 8 decks. Not even Steven Wong or Bryce Carlson can break even with that.
