Carbon poker was once called Poker.com. When poker.com became the Merge gaming network Carbon became the new flag ship site with PDC being the former poker.com. In reality PDC was the first site on the Merge network, but for whatever reason Carbon became the number 1 site when Merge launched in I believe 2006.
