carbon (merge) .27 sng's

Just saw these and thought they were a great way to use vip pts. I played 5 total (2 on poker host and 3 on carbon) using my vip's and won 3 1.10 coupons (2 carbon, 1 ph). Then realized they don't work for 1.10 sngs, which take coupons so i thought they would, and only tournament that is 1.10 and takes coupons is the tops events, at least there are 2 so i can use both coupons, but sucks they don't let you use them for any 1.10 buyin, don't understand why they limit your use of them. No pt in playing anymore, unless i try for 2nd (.40).

That sucks. I've been fooled by Carbon before myself and it is a bit annoying.

Thanks or the information. I thought about playing these for the $1.10 coupons but I guess it is not really worth it if you can only use them for tournaments.

These sngs were only put up as sattys into TOPS events most likely.

I'm going to play these for coupons for the simple fact, I plan on actually playing those events and have spare vip points anyway.

I wished carbon would let us use our points for the .11 bumblebee rooms still.

Ok so i was checking to see if i had any PO freeroll coupons on Carbon and noticed I have a 1.10 coupon i played a few of the .27 sng's for the Tops 1.10 Coupons, is it really only the Tops games that will allow the coupon or am I missing something, I assumed I could use it in any 1.10 tourny... i woulda e-mailed carbon but figure u guys might give faster reply

i already made a thread about this, lol. I figured out after getting 3rd coupon, what a waste. ONly 2 tourneys you can use for.

well its dead simple and logic can see u through this...click on a tournament that costs $1.10 to enter on the drop down menu it will say how u can enter, coupon/cash/points if the option for coupon isnt there you cant use it :|

not that simple az, there are 1.10 tourneys that use coupons, but the ones you win from the .27 sngs don't work, they only work for the tops ones, nothing else, there are 2 1.10 tops tourneys, both rebuy and addons, so kind of a waste imo, i'd rather take 2nd for .40. I have 3 of the coupons and can only use 2 of them.

ya i like to the bumble bees when i dont really feel like playing, i think i've won more by shoving everyhand everytime than i have by actually picking spots and playing the game right... which makes lot people mad, their would be alot more people playing like me if they took vips

so uve just answered your question then

umm if the tourney is a rebuy and add on then one would assume its like most other rebuy and addons u can use the $1.10 coupon to rebuy (like you can in most tourneys)

so yeah it really is that simple

do you even read what i wrote, i didn't ask a question, i was answering jlynn who ASKED ABOUT THE .27 SNGS, THEY ARE FOR THE NEW TOPS THING STARTING END OF THIS MONTH. THEY ARE TO WIN A COUPON GOOD FOR EITHER OF THE 2 1.10 TOURNEYS IN THAT, NO OTHER TOURNEY WILL TAKE THE COUPON YOU WIN FROM THESE, NONE, NO OTHER, ZIP, JUST THE 2 SPECIFIC TOURNAMENTS THAT ARE IN THE TOPS SERIES, SO IF YOU WIN MORE THAN 2, THERE IS NO USE FOR THE 3RD.

Is there a new sit n go game on carbon ? i dont know of this .27 game your speaking of.

I seen that but what u dont relize is that they are rebuys so get a bunch for rebuys that is the point im thinking good luck in the TOPS

rebuys are 1.00, so can you use coupon for rebuy, i didn't think so, but i don't do to many satellites and coupons so i don't know how that works

Well either way im sure carbon will let u use them I agree they do seem stupid never played one but good to know u cant use them for anything else wierd

we should all give our input to carbon and ask that these coupons become universal for any tourney of said price.

I had about 2k vip points saved up and used em all on sng's to get $11 satellites one day. Got 5 $11 satellites. 3 I ended up cashing. $63, $112 and 40 something. Use your points up, they can go a long way. Save em for when you have no bankroll. That's what I do.

i dont know why but i tried using my point for these small ones and got a failed registration
