who really will know, people will always play
Serious question for the "it's rigged" crowd: Why play on a site that you believe is not fair to all?
Second question: I've asked this many times, and no one's been able to provide it, but I'll ask again... Where's the statistical proof that Merge (or any software) is rigged? I'm not talking about one individual hand, I'm talking about a database of thousands upon thousands of hands, showing that the math doesn't add up.
Ok then the same can be asked from you. and isnt it funny that the sites cant even provide there audits of the rng.. O wait we are talking about the KGC being in charge of having this done.. but if you wanna stay naive go for it. and for the first part. where else is anyone gonna play? I dont believe any one of the rigged people have ever said its rigged for certain people just rigged for max profit by the site and even if someone was to show samples people would still complain it isnt big enough sample. But if the last 4 or 5 yrs of scandals havent proven that these sites are just out for max profit i dont what will... I think most just hope that one day the site will pick there hands to hold instead of finding ways to river screw em
That's bullshit.
The fact that ndns can build embassies in other countries to deal specifically with them is hurting our country. I am Native American and I'm against it.
As for the rigged question, I think it probably isn't at some points. But to genuinely have a singular outlook, you have to play games that don't have any community cards like 5-Card Draw, Stud, or Razz.
Are the video games I play rigged when I know (in my gut) that my Panzer IV is gonna get killed with one shot rather than 3 or 4?---or when I know (in my gut) when there is going to be a burst of internet lag?
Call it intuition or psychic. We're all in this together when we play with community cards so being beat by 7-2os when the other player has that 'gut-feeling' can be reciprocated.
Now, are you one to have the outlook of "I'll never fold pocket Aces?" Coz if you are, then you've already lost. I fold AA, KK, QQ, on a regular basis. I've seen two-pair beating them so often I really don't regard them as all that good of a hand.
Could the strange bad beats be from the way the cards are randomized? I've heard that the delay (or speed) in the timing of your call or raise could affect the next card out from the deck.
The only reason the site may seem rigged, and this goes for all online pokers sites. (regardless of what county the RHG was created in) When playing online poker you have the opportunity to play on more tables, and not only that, the play is also faster. I've learnt throughout a study that you see 18% more hands online versus live play. Therefore, when taking the two above mentioned factors into consideration it REALLY ups the percentage for a player to see bad beats. It's as simple as this: MORE HANDS = MORE BAD BEATS & LESS HANDS = LESS BAD BEATS.. Hopefully that solves your suspicions about Carbon being "rigged".

as bad as merge seems rigged its just poker happens live all the time to if u play enough
haha, we say it's rigged but we keep goin back
I read somewhere that if you stand on one leg and touch your nose with your right index finger during an all in you're guaranteed to hold the winning hand by the river
that would be a great way to win i should start doing so
Merge network is a three ring circus
rofl to funny....
I am 99% sure that non of popular poker sites aren't rigged. Atleast i try to hope so!
I wouldn't say it's rigged, although it does seem to cross my mind at times. The worst suck-outs occur almost every time. A common phrase along the tables is "only on merge" which I believe myself.
ahh its poker you will have that! Good luck all
some site feel rig when u lose but when u win u feel wow v.gud site but one thing is certain on c a r b o n the river u can alwys expect the unexpect
if you are expecting the "unexpected" wouldn't it be safe to say that the "unexpected" would then be expected?
if it is rigged, it's cause they have USA players, who's only other option are sites with like 750 people total throughout a day, so why not make it so people will be more likely to deposit?
theres no proof that it isnt and no one has proof it is.. Main reason is no one can compare it to live odds cause you cant take notes and have hand history of what live odds are..
lol all poker may be. so good luck we all need that
Carbon isn't rigged.
I dont believe any site is rigged the moment I do I will stop playing online poker!!!
you are plaing with a compter not a schuffled deck
I have said it many times , it's not that that the site is rigged as to why so many suck outs happen. It is due to the poor play of everyone online. Just because you started playing on a site and noticed no suckouts yet doesn't mean anything , you could be running well. As for Carbon , you were obviously on a bad run.
Your bad run is most likely the reason you are months overdue on your loan shark to me...
well as long as they keep there certafiction up to date..... should be good
The pokerstars are RIGGED!
I think eventually... all of these sites will be rigged. Why? Because they are in business to make money and grow. The second they stop growing the market see's them as weak. IT's only natural for them to eventually fudge some numbers in the RNG to produce more rake. The mistake people are making is they think it will be rigged against them vs another player; nope - its the corporation vs all who play there. IF they produce 5% more river donks - this guarantees mor erake foir the house. Not sure if they are donign that - but thats what they would do and nobody can prove it - but the developer that rigged it. There was a casino nere by that added 2's (I think it was 2's) to their Black JAck decks - gaming came in and penalized them $$. They certainly didnt close up shop and who knows how much money they made off doing that. Just human nature - if your trying to sell your business - you may just opt to rig it for a little while to pump up profits B4 lets say you sold to an americaln buyer when the US allows online gaming again.
Next time your online playing keep track of how many 450-1 turn rivers their are. How many flops are QQQ, 10 10 10. One board was a rotal flush - all 5 of us were all in with shared royal flushes...Nice Rake. Not syaing they are - just saying - it's human nature to want to tilt the odds in the houses favor - vegas was built on it.
Your only protection? Play for fun - take advantage of the free rolls - manage your Bank roll better. Play Poker Owned!
One other thought... Go look up "Super Accounts"... Absoulte Poker I think I was on during this... An employee set up a super account and could see everyones cards. SO yes, their can be rigged games. Another scam is players using Instant Messenger to collude at a ring game and share card info. Caveat Emptor; don't keep thousands of dollars overseas (Absolute fkd me a lil there when it shut down US players).
I agree with Laser that some hands are dealt aa vs ak toget more action to build more rake but tourneys what is the advantage there?
I think pokerstars is rigged ;)
It's the number of hands played, you see it all the time on every site.
it might be it might not but if it is that is a damn shitty thing to do when a site dont payout that would be worse the that
