Sometimes you might think that there is something out there that people have. I have seen some very strange calls while playing on Carbon
The conspiracy theories will always be alive and well... It's true that one site did get caught with its pants down 10 or so years ago, but in today's world of instant communication it's really hard to believe that the kind of thing you describe could go on for long without being outed.

the crap hands that beat you are just because merge gaming hates skill. it helps the chumps that cant play win hands with any crappy cards. ive been beaten countless tiimes with pocket aces and get the 3rd ace on the flop some idiot goes all in has low pocket pair with the 3rd on the flop with my ace. and of course the river gives them the fourth. wont happen for me but i sure do get beat by the river a lot

You know, I agree about the losers and whinners, however, I have seen some weird stuff on Merge. I mean, like hero call after hero call, guys late in a tourney losing to THE NUTS over and over (How often do you see THE NUTS in a game? Oh yeah, well, how many times in a row?) I once heard there were Merge poker bots in the freerolls to save a few $, but does that make any sense? No, more likely it's a combination of very loose cannons and promotions that INSPIRE bad play.

it sure does seem like it huh? last night there was a player with next to nothing and calling with horrific hands going allin and winning every damn hand!
I had a talk last night with Carbon Chris and he informed me that Merge had rented the tiny basement in lilg's home to do nothing but rig hands for PokerOwned players. He said Merge didn't want certain players to win a % of hands.
So I asked am I one of them, and sigh yes I am on the doom switch. So with that said if you want to know if you are on his list of players who can't win PM me..............................

Buy any poker book available, read it, and you are already better than about half the players online.
there is no cheat software but there is holdem manager which tracks hand historys and tracks and helps keep record of how your oppoents play
yeah they say variance playing more hands online is y u c all the crazy beats. but i dont buy that myself

This is not true and no one in their right mind would use software like that for micro stake games anyways. Just some bad poker players out there and losing players that cannot admit losing was due to their bad play. Suck outs and bad beats happen live and online. Since you do not have a dealer shuffling and dealing between every hand online, you are definitely going to see a much higher volume of hands online vs live, therefore seeing more variance.Quote:

Do bad hands beat better starting hands? Of course they do. It happens all the time. I have seen someone be behind in a hand preflop and catch up at least 4 times in a row and bust out the big stack. I think it was MyriamAndMax who went from last in chips to first in chips in minutes. Busting out the largest stack in the tournament while doing it.
Do crazy things happen in poker. Of course they do. If there wasn't luck then either Phil Hellmuth or PanlickTrollbait would be the greatest tournament players ever.
Are people going to keep on whining about rigged software instead? Of course they will. That will never end.
Does this stuff happen in live play? Of course it does.
Do people whine and cry about it in live play? Of course they do. I have seen people start accusing the dealers for all their bad luck. Almost getting violent about it.
Is there anything that you can do? Yes work on improving the one thing that you can control. Your own game.

I played 5 nights a week for about 3 years and there is something wrong with online for sure cause i could play 5 nights and not see in them 5 nights what i would see in 1 sng. 100 hands is 100 hands no matter how fast u get there.
Do i think online is rigged? Nah, i used to for sure, especially after the first time USA got banned from sites like pokeroom and party as i had 15 mtt wins on one site and 8 on another, since then basically nada.
Do i think the underdog wins more then odds say he should? HELL YEAH!! but not because i think the site is rigged against anyone but to keep players wanting to play when they push and pray with trash or make hero calls that they shouldnt have even been calling the blinds let alone a raise.
Lets face it online is PURE business and in this crooked world anything goes. It doesnt take proof of anything to be convinced most businesses are just plain crooked. Anytime a company can pay CEO's the kind of money they pay them(multi millions) yet have minimum wage workers is just plain greedy and crooked but that is the world as we know it now.
With that being said if the avg wasnt coming out one way or another i think some one would have broke that story a long time ago. Just remember tho if someone has good luck online and hits more then the avg allows then some one else has bad luck and hits alot less of what they should win with.
I don't think that Carbon has cheat software but you never know. I have been doing pretty good on Carbon so there can't be that many people that would know about it if it was cheat software.
