Just received this email from BCP today:

The $5,000 Micro Race

Jealous of all the players who keep cashing in The Beast? Wish there was something for smaller stakes players? There is now.

From January 13th through 27th, we're holding the $5k Micro Race.

Just play in micro stakes ring games during those two weeks and you'll start ranking on our leaderboard. At the end of the 2-week race, we'll spread $5k among the top finishers.

Micro stakes tables include: $0.01/$0.02, $0.02/$0.05, and $0.05/$0.10 tables.

The $5k Micro Race runs at the same time as OSS II, our $1 million poker tournament series. So if tourneys are more your thing, you can find a low buy-in qualifier for one of the big events now. Register in a $0.55 OSS II Satellite and score 25 points in the $5k Micro Race.

Yeah, now that I think about it, I should have titled it differently. Can you edit a title once it is submitted? This is exciting news and really looks like a cool promotion. I will be playing at the cash tables from January 13th through 27th and hopefully I will qualify.

Def will be grinding the cash games as well as OSS 2

Can Zab or a Mod change the title to "Black Chip Poker - The $5,000 Micro Race"? I tried to edit and change the title, but I only have the option to change the body of the post.

I definitely though this was gonna be more poker bad news, but it sounds like fun! Too bad I don't play on BCP.

Not a big fan of BCP...of course my puter is littered with poker sites. Before "Black Friday" there was 4 more, that are now gone.

Not anymore, it has recently moved to the Winning Network with America's Cardroom, Black Chip Poker was on the merge network but has recently moved to the Winning Network and joined Americas Cardroom, but it is a great site to play on. I would definitely recommend it Dame. You would not regret it.

yes, they take all US players. Black Chip Poker was on the merge network but has recently moved to the Winning Network and joined Americas Cardroom.

K, well I signed up and downloaded. They want $50 minimum deposit with Visa though. Might have to wait a week or so to fund it.

Done, and if you click go advanced after you hit edit, that is where you can change the title :)
