I got it from my cable company, and yes i did pay my bill.

Maybe you pressed record accidently on some shows and now it records that show everytime it comes on. And where does it say his dvr isnt recording to those couple of people saying that...

My DVR does this sometimes too it is usually because a program time gets changed.
