a friend of mine made it in he can take 8k cash or take a 12k wsop seat package
still not sure which hes taking... look for a big black man name Oz tho

The thing about plo8, is most people play the game poorly, and while i am nowhere near the best, i know how to make correct folds. Anyway, made it to the last level on day 1, got the rest of my chips in with AK42 against AQxx and the flop came down KJ10, couldnt improve and I was out. Real happy with my play, got my 4500 starting stack up to 13K at one point, but lost a large pot where i flopped top 2 with the nut low draw against bottom set and bricked out. might get into the 3K plo8, gonna try the satellite room today to see if i can get in cheap.Quote:

skipped the 3K plo8. only wanted to play if i could get a satty going to get in. jumped into some 20/40 limit o8 instead and ran $2000 up to $6400! paid for my whole trip and came home $1400 richer!
well that is the way to do it have trip paid for and come home with cash

I made it last year and played a couple of the $1500 tournaments. Cashed for $4500 in Stud 8 but missed the money by about 100 in Omaha 8. WSOP tournaments really are the best structured around.

It would b a freking dream come true to play in even a smaller event a wsop. one day i know i will. i just know it. lol
He made it through the day with minimal clashes against daniel. Ran it up from 40k to 125k then lost a monster KK<AA drop to 30k. After that he went on a little heater to end the day with 124.9kQuote:
