I think pokerstars will be back to some time in the near future. After it purchase fulltilt and agreed to pay players back their money, there's a great chance it will be available for US player's

Pokerstars will be back in the U.S. in a about a year or two. They are already making steps to buy a casino in new jersey and it looks like new jersey will be the first state to offer real money poker. New jersey might even have legal online poker within this year. Very excited and can't wait for the comeback of poker in America.....

I hope it come s back at some point. Need the larger pool of players to get those good cashes. Plus it is a site that is run really well.

I think if they ever do let up on the laws it they will be designed to keep the revenue in the US. There will not be another wild west type poker world.

It will prob be years before the US realizes they should just start collecting taxes instead of letting people move out of the country just to play online poker... LE SIGH

I hope it will, then there's less russian players too i belive...I'm not really practical with visiting forums or posting answers. but i'm hoping that it will. Otherwise, full tilt was also involved with this mess (black friday) why wouldn't they think of opening PokerStars? Canada for example...
