Sweet! Do you have a link for this?
Like I said in the other thread on this subject ... Applying for a NEVADA license is interesting. Its not a done deal and its not a nationwide thing.
Here's a cardplayer link ... Poker Giant Bwin.Party Applies for Nevada Internet Gaming License
this wold eventually be for nevada only thooo,, so i t hink cheicken read it worng or wishful thinking:))
No poker site is gonna be restricted to just its states residents.. I have not read one thing of it only being a state to state thing. Everything ive read says " Intrastate" which means more then one not interstate which means just the one state. Theres no money to be made by just doing a state by state poker room. so when it happens to become legal almost all states will be in on it for fear of losing revenue.
individual states wont make enough off of their card rooms there arent enough players per state to make it profitable for them 2
I keep my fingers crossed for all US players...
Bolded with what I have read too.
Your wires are crossed though ... here is the definition of intrastate --- the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.
Relating to or existing within the boundaries of a state.
-----------
Now as far as it being profitable in most states individually ... ya most of your small states with low populations it doesn't make sense. Take California, the most populous state, it is inevitable.
Here is some simple math.
The pop of CA is about 38,000,000 ... 38 million
divide by 10 you you get 3.8 million
divide by 100 you get 380,000
divide by 1000 you get 38,000
---------
Why did I bring up those numbers? Well if only 1 out of 1000 CA residents would be willing to play poker online then it would have 38 thousand customers.
I'm quite confident that there is more than 38,000 customers and it would be profitable for multiple sites within CA. Calshark (Commerce Casino, the Bike, and many Indian reservation partnership) and Larry Flint (Hustler magazine and casino) will almost for sure turn their current beta sites to cash sites the day a CA online poker proposition passes/becomes law.
I'm from Nevada (Vegas) and I'd love to see Party Poker pass the legal barrier into Clark County.. Don't think it will though. Online poker has too many restrictions in Nevada.
i think other states will follow especially new jersey home of ac
lets hope bwin get the licenses and other can apply as well, us will soon have online poker back a a whole i think, but it might take some time..
party poker is restricted to fewer countries compared to other sites but it gud i heard. Too bad i had got offer of $ 50 free to play on party poker because i won in poker quiz but its not valid for my country whch sux.
I will believe it when I see it.
I really hope party poker does come back to the US. Was my favorite site.
Party Poker was my first learning experience with online poker. I hope it eventually comes back to the "entire" US.

I still have my account with Party poker. Pretty sure it work when Party poker become available again

888 and South Point will two of the first running later this year. Then the big boys will come and in take over.
Could you imagine a pokerstars land-based casino in Vegas, which would allow them to enter online Nevada/US market legally.
Cheers to the future of online poker!
that is cool for americans,cheers
this is good news finally for all american
little by little will have more room to play
I think responsible for regulating gambling in use and must be set and allow crap players used in all poker rooms.
Glad to hear it! PartyPoker was my favorite room way back when. And the room I first started playing online at.
First I heard, sounds great. Was first site I played on, party on Party Poker!
