Luckily enough we live in a gated community in North Las Vegas... Not one doorbell ring... Thank you Jesus! I HATE HALLOWEEN!
Every year seems less and less more kids out ! wonder if they go to some parties instead !
I completely don't get the point of Halloween - a bunch of toddlers running house-to-house for free candy...WTF???
we got a lot of kids and alot of candy from our kids - we are in a town house development with 191 houses - never even left the development and I can't look at candy anymore - tried them all
We get alot, we live in a large neighborhood, I think that helps. What boggles my mind is the parents that drive their kids trick or treating, lol
haha i knoww there were parents driving their kids in my neighborhood too, Im like the houses are right next too each other..really?
I live in a decent size neighborhood as well but it was sprinkling on and off so I think that might have had something to do with it
i quit counting at 230 had many more after that
I has been the same pretty much every year here. It averages around 15 to 30 kids.
maybe no kids stop at my house because of my van

I had one,,,and he didn't have a choice since he was one year old,,,when I dropped the candy in his bucket, he looked at me like, "what the hell are you doing" !
I too think that it is starting to become less and less popular, which is ok by me.
i had zero,, but i live in an apt building,, and th e doorsss are locked dwnstairs,, so they cant really get in without ringing up first hehe but there none out here anymore tho,, just a lotttta drunk 20 somethins where i live wanderin around lookin stupid,, goin to bars LOLOl,,, i never really liked halloweeen tho either, kinda creeeped me out lol, cept wh en real litttle and just wanted the candy ha ha:)
I take my kids and make them walk till their little legs hurt. Its once a year and we go all out. I think the problem with the dwindling number of trick or treaters is because of this new LAZY generation that doesn't want to get off their big butts and walk their children around. That's why we see people driving their kids around in the car on the same street they live on. Ridiculous. Then you'll see people all grouped together in neighborhoods they don't live in because of the level walking grounds. Parents wonder why their kids would rather stay inside and play video games and they don't have enough sense to know the kids are just copying their mom and dads lazy behavior. I think Halloween is a good example of how bad the family unit is getting. If the holiday is against your religion then so be it.
My 9 year old daughter said that she was the odd person at school because both her parents live in the same house together. I can remember when it was the other way around. The kids at school actually pick on her for it because to most kids it isn't normal. What a shame.
Yeah I also live in apartment and it's closed downstairs.
So didn't got someone to ring at my door.
