Can't post in more appropriate forum so I'll put here for now. I am going to put all screenshot mockups of a proposed staking section for PO in here. I want any and ALL feedback, it's easy to make quick little adjustments, so we can get this right first time
First up: separation from main site activity, read forum descriptions for what these forums would detail, and esp the disputes one, as that should be in main site categories

K Getting Frustrated with chitty profile block crap, it's been awhile lol gonna take a break for a lil bit and try afer degennin a bit. Example 2 is about player stats, important to have their own profile tab with all important info. It should ALSO have a quick link to their background check, I didn't get that on it yet. Please comment on whats missing or other ideas for this part, ignore the poor presentation, the spacing was an issue thanks to vb dam code for member profile blocks (tabs)

Last one for tonight, getting tired of coding, this ones the first usable one though, posting stakes form (usable yet i cant get it to post yet lol serves me right for recycling my 3 yr old code). I left stake id in, from my old site, as when i get it to work itll auto link itself to the rail, and the user cant edit that anyways its auto incremented by the form. I also missed one thing i wanted to add, expected completion by, and I want to remove the stakeback yes or no, let that all be in cut terms (i had it that way so i could use the cut numbers when stake is complete to auto calculate ship back amount). Hopefully i can get it to post early tomorrow but if not that not too important, i just like that it autoformats the thread in a consistent, clean way

ok Heres the steps I have:

The finished stake post shows whos running already, who is applying (only to staker, so they can make a choice), and what their current bankroll is. It also shows who's finished and you can click to go approve it: http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...gressstake.jpg
Step 2: The horse applies to the stake which allows the staker to choose them (it ONLY allows choosing horses that apply, for paper trail) http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...hoosehorse.jpg Once staker has selected horse, they appear in the stake as running it, and system emails horse to make them aware to create a rail http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...ilapproval.jpg
Step 3: Horse creates rail and keeps it updated, a update bankroll script would allow current bankroll to show as it does in the open stake pic i shown. After stake is completed, horse completes stake with another form for verification http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...pletestake.jpg

Couple additions would include feedback in the verification process, a background check during the select horse part, and I'll think about the rest.
This would streamline EVERYTHING on the stakers end. As far as a player posting an ad, I'll think about it some more and come up with it, this wasn't really allowed on my site so I don't have it premade
bumping, get some feedback goin so i can make adjustments in a visual for Zab, I'll look at the player detail needs next, but I know some thing I put are probably overkill, and theres stuff I'm missing too, take your best shots at it so I can adjust
this looks good for the staker, also will there be a section where the horse can apply for a stake and set the tourneys that he wants to run?

one thing that may make it a little easier and is really just me nit picking but in the stake terms section what do you think about it saying "horses cut" rather that "stake split" and having to put staker/player in the description. if it just said "horses cut" there would just be one number and might prevent people from making the mistake of putting the wrong number in the wrong place like lets say that the staker wanted 60% but accidentally put in 40/60 it could throw the thing off, but if it was just one number and it was clear that that number is the horses cut, it just may help avoid mistakes and make it clearer who gets what.
or even having 2 different sections, one with stakers cut and one with horses cut. i dont know why i just see people having problems with putting it in backwards, or a horse claiming that the read it backwards trying to keep more of the winnings.
sorry forgot it said that, it was 1 num before, i had the script do the math is why, i wouldn't want it like that here. im off the next 2 days so ill tighten this up later
