Knew someone who won 200-250k before taxes once, might have been having 5 out of 6 numbers or something, or just a smaller lottery. They bought a house in Vegas (they were living in AZ at the time). This was back around 2002 before the Vegas housing crash, I hope they still have the place and it still has some value. I haven't spoken to them in about 8 years, never really found out if the money made their life better. -This is the biggest win I ever knew personally.
