See Yang was horrible, but he was actually a generous, likable guy, who knew he wasn't anything spectacular, so it's easy to be okay with him winning, especially since he is so charitable with his money.

Gold on the other hand, was greedy and selfish. He was unlikeable. And on top of everything else, he sucked and poker and didn't even know it.

What goes around comes around I guess. Yang invested a lot of money and is doing well on top of to fact he's being so charitable, and Gold had to sell his bracelet because he had too big of an ego to realize how bad of a player he was and it costed him $12,000,000+.
