it is not the first time that i lose with AA against a weaker and if i play slowly to win more money they make a set or two pairs and if i play agressively i only win the blinds...
it is not fair but it is poker , isn't it?

A good amount of time go in with the best of it and lose.
Dont slow play it, most of the action you'll get will come from people hitting sets, str8s, flushes, 2 pair. There wont be a lot of times where you'll get them to put a lot of money in with just 1 pair. Folding aces is allowed and you should fold them when you feel like you're beat.
Sometimes the best way to make money is just steal the blinds. you have to be willing to also be sucked out on. Statistically you will only win about 80% of the time with aces. And online its probably like 70%
I have one move with AA.. shove it and hope for a caller.
Shove and pray...in the PO T's it's next to impossible to isolate players.
That's why the saying goes win a small pot or lose a big one with aces.
yep i hate aces. its always a bitch to not bet too much and only steal the blinds, but at least its a win specially later in a tourny when the blinds are high. always better then slow playing and getting em cracked by j9
I been beat while having a pair of Aces also so don't feel left out. It happens all the time.
because ppl call with dunb sh!t
The lower the limits, the larger the number of people are willing to see a flop with weaker hands. We do tend to remember the losses more than we remember the wins, so try and keep that in mind.
So here is my two cents. You may need to adjust your style of play if you are not making money with your big hands.Particularly in cash games if you play too tight you are basically letting your opponents know what you have and it is then easy to post flop play against you.My guess from the limited info I have you need to raise more often to hide your range (I play mostly 6max and like to raise at least one hand from every position with in the first 30 min),try and either keep your raises all the same or raise "crazy" amounts(2x,2.5x,3x etc)with all of your range. As far as the beats go there is not much you can do about that just remember to play with in your bankroll and you should be fine in the long run.....Random thought it seems to me that NLH is more about picking the spots and players you can steal from rather then trying to show down hands(of course this may be off because I play mostly PLO where showing down happens way more often then in hold'em) Hope this helps GL....
It all depends on position, I'll never shove anything utg, but that's me. JustSayn..............................
I usually raise 3x bb and see what happens, depends on players and position. JustSayn...................................
Know the conditions and reasons for slowplay:
1. To win 1 more bet
2. That 1 more bet would not be given to you unless you slowplay
3. That meaning your opponent would fold if you bet and bet (or bet on the later street) if you check
4. Board must not be dangerous
5. Flush draws are common, straight draws too
If you put your opponent on tp, you should fire away and he would call.
because we all lose with that... especially online...
it hurts...
gl next time
Today I lost with my AA to a weak crippled straight, and the second time to KK so nothing u can do about it
I Lost with aces , early tnite in the juicy freeroll,,, I over bet so much preflop,, but i cdnt stop my friend,, drywall, from calling lol.. he had A10 and made a flush on river, LUcky donk, then he went on to win the juicy freeoll tnite too:) LOL
NEVER slow play AA online, its too hard to know what your letting in. IN po freeroll ya might as well push cause someone is going to gamble with shit cards!
I have this same problem. More so in tourneys then at cash games.
remember AA is just a pair...yes its the highest of the pairs but just a pair....and its also a pair that most ppl cant fold...i personally havw no problem folding AA...especially online... but i always play it aggressive...would rather just win the blinds then to lose to someone who called my slow play with 84 off suit..lol
if i'm in a tourney then the chips usually go in pre flop, i hate seeing a flop with them then getting beaten by 2 4 off suit.
suck
Because they do not like you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for the help guys :D
Just play it as fast as possible honestly. A single pair is only a single pair and either you are going to lose A LOT or win very little if you slow play a hand you can't find it in you to fold. There is never a reason to slow play aces unless A. the board is rainbow and free of straight draws, B. You KNOW you cannot get value off of a bet, C. You know your opponent well enough to KNOW they will bluff the next street if it goes check, check (or if you check into them, depending on who has position). Just play it fast and furious and the best thing left in you is to pray. Good luck!
