Is it time for the Poker Owned Community to Boycott Lock Poker

It has been well documented that Lock Poker has a horrible reputation. They're payouts are practically non-existant, they're money is trading for 20 cents on the dollar in the open market and they were kicked off the Revolution Network because they were not meeting they're fiscal responsibilities to their network partners. It's my opinion that PO is damaging its reputation by offering coupon's for lock money like it is any other online site. I really think Zab should take a hard look at removing anything related to the Lock Site, cut his losses and just move on.

A Poker Player should be assured that his money on a site is secure and it's a fact that any money on Lock is not.

What are your thoughts?

my thoughts are that if everyone stops using the site, stops depositing/playing how is it ever going to recover?
i have a cashout pending, that i have not given up on yet, its frustrating because of people like you going around and basically putting the final nails in the coffin of the site

I mean Santa Claus could be real too. No one has ever proven that he doesn't exisit. It's possible that they could pay you

no, what i want is for lots of people to play, the more people that play/deposit the more money the site makes, the more money the site HAS faster the payouts become


im not talking one or 2 people here the site needs a massive boost of people and because of fucknuts like you that isnt going to happen :|

The Revo network is not to blame for Locks failures. This might be one of the dumbest things I have heard you say AZ, and thats quite the statement.

Lock Poker blows! Why would u deposit or even play freerolls there???

That's a good point too. Not until recently were the Lock Poker Freerolls stopped. People should not have been duped like that to spend their hard earned points on a Lock freeroll. That was a giant waste of time and PO points which are way more valuable than Lock Money. Again, another thing that made Poker Owned look bad.

Santa Clause does exits and i still believe there is a Santa. I leave out milk and cookies every Xmas and the next morning it was all gone. this prove that he does exits.

I won one of their free seats many times and took 7th once for $3200 and placed again for $375. I've got around $3,000 of that money since May of this year. Of course I had help getting the cash outs. So boycott, not me, I have only deposited $30, still have over $500 in my account, so I'm playing on their monies. I multi table, so whats the harm in one of the tables being Lock ? Will try to cash out again after the first of the year and see how it goes.

lol, yeah, azreal sure is telling it like it is. He's having an impossible time trying to get his money, so instead of showing some integrity and growing a spine, he wants other people to put there hard earned money for the off chance that some of that money will make it into a cashout

What type of help did you get in getting your cashout? I think a lot of people would like to know what the secret is to getting a speedy cashout.

In my opinion, the market should decide whether Lock sinks or floats. It's not up to PO to pass judgment.

I think we have a moral obligation to inform as many people as possible (especially people who are new to online poker) the nightmare that one will encounter when they deal with lock, and not just that, we should not continue the lie by selling their worthless money on this site like it is just as valuable as every other site.

I didnt read the full thread but what is the problem with lock poker and why should we be boycotting it even tho I have never played there

They have a horrible reputation for not paying their players in a timely manner among other things. People are selling their Lock money on 2+2 for as low as 9 cents on the dollar yet PO is selling coupons for roughly the same amount of PO points as BCP.

wuestion lock poker and black chip poker are'nt they tied together by the same company? correct me if im wrong please

They are completely different. BCP is part of the Winning Poker Network. Lock is now a stand alone because No Network will let them join after being kicked off the Revolution Network

Members of a certain poker forum (many here belong; not 2+2) were able to get money off in a reasonable time frame pretty recently, but even that avenue has been shut down at least temporarily as the site says things have come to a standstill since shortly after Lock 2.0...

I don't play there and never have. Heard too many bad things about them and refused to download their software. With everything else coming out about them, I am very glad I stayed away.

i don't play there either don't see why ppl still play there knowing no1 gets paid.......beware of that site
