#3 is awful advice for limit players. It is also poor advice for NL players in any form. While hand reading is a core skill, you'll never know what they actually have. Thus, your hand is critical as its compared against their range of hands. Additionally, your hand has structural advantages or disagvantes that will show massive differences in profitability in the long run

#5 is terrible advice for NL players. Situationally, it is more correct for limit players, partially correct for short stack NL specialists, but it makes absolutely no sense for NL overall. limping is a key tool for mid and deep stack NL play for a variety of reasons
