Unless you ar good at mathematics, analytics, tilt management, bankroll mng, you can make yourself to grind countless k hands every day and analyise that shit after then you have no chance of anything mentioned by op. Sure you can try million dollar g tourny. gl with that
i dont think so, because poker is just a game and if you dont know how to play you dont win nothing with a job you dont know what are you doing and get paid for nothing =D
It can be if you're good enough to make a steady profit at it every day.
no..finally not....it's just a game...u can gain some money with it, and that's all........
;)
Sometimes you don't get the cards who need, or gives to rival the card "imposible" it's lucky or unlucky

Very possible... Lots of mood stabalizers (Ziprazadone) a lot of valium... and a lot of Oxycodone... Yes... I can sit in front of a screen 24/7 and never go tilty or get bored... WHAT DO YOU EXPECT I AM A FUCKING NUT JOB... Certifiably might I add.

if you are good enough you can take this like a work, maybe not
I love playing poker and do not see it as work.
it is when you make enough money to have it taxed like other jobs
haha it\'s true.. if you are good enough you cant take it like that
I would be happy with just a decent supplement income form poker maybe someday !
Poker could be viewed as a job but it is a very hard profession to make money in consistently.
online poker is not the way to go because you are playing with preset hands not cards
may be, but you have to study hard on the issue
i for myself dont see that its a life changing game, but sure it can be:D

Poker as a job! I think if you ask anyone who makes a living playing poker and they are being honest, they will say it is pretty easy. There is a lot of loose money to be had in poker because unlike most "jobs", everyone thinks they are the best! Most people tend to make there own troubles in the business. They are their own worst enemies! I believe that if you approach it modestly and try not to complicate things, there is money to be made. As for the online play, only 10% of the worlds best online players are going to make anything that amounts to alot. This does not mean that you can't build a nice bankroll! If you love the game and I mean really love the game, you should look at is a Long Term committment! Don't focus all your attention on short term goals! Ask yourself, WHERE WOULD I LIKE MY BANKROLL IN 10 YEARS? NewsFlash: I am not nor are most of you in that 10%. It is nice to see some of the kids making a living playing the game, but in reality, a large percentage of that 10% are going to go bust eventually. They always have and always will and these old time players like Brunson know this! Poker as a Job, Naaaa! I will continue to play for birthday money:)
if you are good enough you can take it like a work
I cannot read half of these and understand them because it seems as though NO ONE can speak proper friggin english.
My nightmare is that I am facing final judgment and Saint Peter says to me,"You have to run a poker game. And deal."
Which reminds me of the old joke. You know why a stage coach driver and a poker dealer are alike? They both spend the day staring at ten assholes.
I now get up and leave games any day of the week that are fabulous. My leaving rules have changed. In general, you watch the skill levels of the players and the stacks of the weaker players. You have one eye on the dead money and one eye on the door. Often I will tell myself, I am leaving when the four seat and the nine seat go broke. But lately, I have been doing the old heel and toe whenever the debate about leaving begins in my head. Recently I lost a pot a show horse couldn't jump over right when I am having a conversation with my self about the knowing when to walk away part.
i work ten hours a day i come home to relax and play if i get tired i just stop so i dont lose
think it's a hobby that pays well if you play is very cute .. jugarlp - and if you pay the bills better hehe!
Dont quit your day job... playing poker for a living would be fun but stressful at times as well because you need enough money to back you up in downswings
if you are good and play high stakes
yup , if u are good enough and can play high stakes games !!!
if you are good enough you can take it like a work :)
I think with a decent bankroll to make it through the swings and some patience .
For some people it is, but for the vast majority it's only a way of entertainment
For some it's a work at home job-a lot of disabled people love to win cash at the tables
Well you have "professional poker players" so by definition yes poker can be a job.
many people do not work spent playing poker all day, for example in Peru the minimum wage is 280 dollars, I have friends who earn more on pokerstars in his work ..
It depends on how good you're at playing poker, but most people can't be a poker pro
most of the people only hope to play poker like a job, but there are to few that actually succeed. it's not that easy to make such a good profit to be able to leave from it.
