Seems to me the question you are asking is more about is it morally wrong as a christian to play poker. If you are a true christian then you shouldn't worry about what other people say , cause you'll be steered wrong most of the time. If you aren't losing money you can't afford and getting yourself in trouble financially, then there is nothing morally wrong playing poker and being a christian for me, you have to answer that question for yourself, and only you can. There 's lots of "christians" out there that love to tell you how sinful you are and how much better your life will be if you listen to them ( and send them a check ) only to find they live more sinful lives then you. My pt is, as a christian, you need to live your life the way that you feel is right, not the way "they" tell you too. That's my opinion anyway, so imo, it doesn't matter whether poker is gambling or not, maybe my memory is wrong , but i don't remember any commandment saying "thou shalt not gamble", lol.
