Hey Zab and everyone, what do you all think of either a one day shootout kind of tournament...Goes like this, since there is 4 tournaments in one day valued at $120 total, make the final of the 4 for the whole $120. You must get into top 6 or top 10 to make it to the fourth tournament and then those players play for the $120 at 10 places paid?

You forget about time zones and people who cannot get into the 4th one :(
It is just like a freezeout tourney, but little more complex.

i like the idea...but maybe like one day a month and make the buy ins larger. grinding 4 tournaments i n one day for a SHARE of $120 is not worth the time. Conversely I like micro buy-in added tournaments.
This wouldn't be a good idea not only for the time zone issue but because more freerolls gives more opportunities to win. Having only one tournament a day here doesn't seem as great as having four, no matter how big the prizepool is.

The better option and a kind of expansion on this idea would be to have a tourney on the weekend that you only get entry to by final tabling a freeroll during the week. Or maybe more exclusive so it was only top5 or elligible to enter the tourney. This idea could work. With the final tourney being a kind of Tournament of champions (even tho more than the champions get entry). The only problem is how to raise the money for the prizepool of this tourney as there would be no opt its.
But it is something that can be discussed and worked on imo
Yes, I like jcole's idea too. Where the freeroll buy in could be 5k points and a large prizepool. Or some other satellite into a big game like that.

Or what about if say only the winners of the freerolls for the week get entry into a freeroll on say sunday. And the winner of that gets a prize of free entry into every tourney that week. Maybe even take a % of the promotions to make the prizepool for this.
That way winning the freeroll has the benefit of entry to this winner take all tourney. Then if you win that you got free entry to tournies for the week

I don't think I like that idea at all. Not everyone has time to play in all the tourneys in a day.

I wouldn't mind having an option maybe for a buy in game from time to time

also Zab whats going on with my WSOPO (World Series of Poker Owned) Idea?
I want it to be a 5k Main Event buyin MTT. With 5-10 smaller events. And we can have a leaderboard for the "MVPP" (Most Valuble Poker Player) of the Series. And winner of the leaderboard could ger a $25 giftcard or soemthing+ Points. We really could make this big and a huge thing the site can do every 6 months. :)

Registration for all the Events could be like 1 week in advance so we know alot of people will join. I really thinkt his will be a huge hit for this site!

true that zab, i cant play in them all every day, i try my best to get in them, but doesn't always work out :(
a monthly tourney sounds good - in a time zone acceptable to everyone - and rewarded to those top moneymakers for the month
