OK degens, how bad is your online poker addiction? ;)

Okay, I'm sure something like this has been done before, but for each of these you've done before, give yourself a count. Comment how many you have done. :)

Count away:
Stayed up all night just to play poker
Skipped a meal because of the poker game you're in
Held having to go to the bathroom for more than a half an hour to avoid sitting out
Brought your laptop into the bathroom with you to avoid missing a hand
Cancelled plans with someone to finish a poker game instead
Broke a computer after a bad beat
Played more tables than you can handle
Played more tables than your computer can handle
Reached a limit for how many tables you can have open
Had 3 or more different poker site softwares open at once
Paid for a HUD
Paid for a SharkScope subscription
Looked yourself up on a poker ranking site 3+ times in the same day
Run a proxy to play poker on a network that blocks it
Win money/tickets in a 2-a-day or similar promo that rewards playing everyday
Talk about poker on a first date
Play poker while your bf/gf or husband/wife is around

Had a break up revolving around poker habits

Hahahah, great poker thread! I ended up at 15/22! I guess I never knew it was so bad..lol

I'm somewhere in between 13 and 16, a few of them fall into a grey area, and I'm not sure about the million hands.

Nice Jason.....I count about 10 for me so I guess I am not as much of a degen as I thought or my wife thinks I am. Maybe I should have her read this thread and see that I am not that bad. :)

jason I want to assume that you have done all of the above, me personally I have 3 cars a rolex and a10k loan from the bank.............is this bad? ;)

i wouldnt call me playing online poker to past time and for fun, (and of course to make $) an addiction, atleast not for me!

i counted 9 for myself, 9/22 is not that bad i guess..

It has been a few years since I was that obsessed with playing poker, but I have to say that finding this forum and playing again has really got me going again. While I have not played in anything other than the PO freerolls, I am now itching to win enough to get into the big Sunday games again! Last time I was playing online was at the height of the Full Tilt, Pokerstars, etc. craze and I missed my own Birthday dinner to play in a big game and would take my laptop to the bathroom and to the dinner table to keep playing, lol.

My online poker addiction is just about as bad as the '' working mans'' addiction. :)

I'm only at 8. I wish it was more...I liked being addicted to poker. no matter how frustrating, I was happier being addicted than not. I feel somewhat lost now that my addiction is subsiding. Earlier in my life it was chess, then my work, then golf. I was happiest all those times when I had a passion for something.

This list & the 15 lines I qualify for is a vivid reminder of why I converted to sports betting. lmfao...Well I suppose we still have a problem Houston. The sportsbook can be alot less hectic than the poker lobby if I do say so myslf..After a while the repetition & swings get hella old & considering it's almost a given that every RNG has a mind of its own, you cant beat the system. Well there are a few dozen who are an expcetion to the rule most being live players or Site affiliated individuals. It can be a jolly good time until all things are factored in. :mad:

20, hard to admit although do not feel as bad knowing most others have the same tempermant.

Not too bad right now. I play way too many freerolls and low limits since I dont have any real money. Used to play 12 hours a day when i was younger.

Only 6 for me - I thought I was pretty bad off at times, but you guys make me see what REAL poker addiction is!! :)

Why does paying for a HUD make you an addict?

Mine isn't that bad until i play enough freerolls to get pissed off enough to quit for a week or two lol

i never cried and never broke a puter. but that list sounds like a perfect prerequisites for my next boyfriend.

Would crossing the border to find hotspots including Libraries, Hotels and McDonalds so I can play on legal New Jersey sites count?

I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM DAMMIT!! Thats what i say to alot of my family and they know not to believe me the first step is admitting u do but i dont i swear!!
