Hypothetically, would a US player want to avoid Lock Poker if he/she wanted to cash out? I've heard it's a wreck over there. Again, I'm sure this has been answered before, but recent updates anyone?

I stopped playing on lock because I had a hard time getting any answers from them. They are not very customer friendly.
Have heard that a lot about Lock. I don't have an account on there and am not in any hurry to get one either.
If it doesnt bother you for it to take a minute to get your cash out, altho WU is alot quiker on there
Damn I love Canada, can play wherever, get paid wherever...
Last I heard they were takin months and months and months for cashouts !
Maybe they have improved, not sure! I would look on 2 plus 2 before deposit!
lock is garbage if you wanna play somewhere play blakchippoker or Americas cardroom or carbon..even though i don't know how fast carbon cashouts are but heard they are decent too
You basically can't cashout with Lock. Nobody is getting checks from them right now from anything that I've heard of. You can do p2p and sell Lock for pennies on the dollar, but that's about it as far as getting money off the site. With all that being said, I still play there. But I play poker for fun and haven't actually cashed out from any site yet, so I don't count any of the money I have on any of the sites as "real" money. It's all play money until I have a check that clears, and I'm having fun playing poker.
Has anyone tried a running a windows emulator for the windows-only clients?
I'm assuming you have a mac? If so, you don't really want to run an 'emulator' for windows, you can just make your computer a dual-boot computer.
Have Your Mac and Windows Too with Boot Camp
stop playing the system a while because I did not like ... but it is a new software and respectable in the game of poker
I try to emulate waterboat when I play poker.
I hate that site to death. I never have wanted to even play over there. I have heard so much wrong doing going over there.
Yea, at first i heard nothing but good things about this site, but as time pass by their reputation just kept getting worst and worst. It really is unfortunate, when they first started I'd have to say I really enjoyed playing there, but that's not the case anymore for me personally.
If they aren't processing cashouts, how are they still retaining players? Haha
heres the latest lock cashouts owed..... no one is getting cashouts

I know this system online poker ... but they say that is good because it is innovative.
Wish I'd seen this thread before I opened an account last week. :(
Can\'t really blame you for not knowing. They stopped posting on 2+2 and now only post in their own heavily censored forum which can\'t even be seen by non-members.
i have heard nothing but bad things about lock! i dont even like it!!
Brodog is the only way to go plus during football its hella juiced up
Lock aint bad....soft games! winlike $500 a day...
They've lost most of their players, but if you have funds left on a poker site that you can only sell at 20c on the dollar, why not play with them?? There's a slim chance they could start processing payments again. I don't think there are many till depositing, just those that didn't look into Lock's reputation beforehand.
ive seen people buy and selling around 0.1 - 0.15 / $1 ... seems a bit strange I feel like the real value should be a bit higher... at least their new tourneys will prevent them form losing more money, I just dont know if they are getting any new funds though from new depositors... the juicy update I hope was a sign of good things to come...
glad to hear the same problems as i had with cashing out using lock
