limit holdem iam donkey and fish when playing limit hahahahahaha
Limit hold'em is like a completely different game to no-limit. I never know when to fold in limits hold'em and bluffing is quite difficult especially when it's lower than pot limit.
limit holdem is for people with no balls. The game sucks donkey dizzickkkk
i hateeeeeeeeeeeee limit poker with a passion seriously get rid of it! lol that is all i ahve to say
thats so funny, i am playing limit now and was gonna start a thread about til i saw you just did... its very slow.kind of boring but i am playing to slow grind and have fun at same time
limit holdem is a childs play ,not a fan , have played once or twice in my life
limit is a very difficult game. Not for children :)
Yeah limit is tough game. You must see flops and know how to play or you will get ran over usually.
Theres a lot of bad players in .02/.04 so u can make a quick double.
limit holdem OMG IM A VERY DONKEY IN LIMIT anyway no limit its better to me
Limit holdem sucks....i dont like that game. NO LIMIT rulls ;)
No limit allows a donkey to be a donkey all-in with Ax every few hands.
I love all of the informative responses guys!! Awesome!!
Answering the OPs question. From a BRM stand point you wouldn't want to jump to NL until you had ~$80. This would allow for a 100bb buy in at .02/.04 NL and only be risking 5% of your BR. That is the typical standard. Having said that, if you were to grind your way up to $80 that would be a comfortable BR for .10/.20 limit holdem (~300 Big Bets is the standard for BRM). So you would be playing on a higher stake level at limit than you would by jumping to no limit. .02/.04 being level 1, .05/.10 level 2, .10/.20 level 3, etc. From experience it's much easier to build a BR playing limit holdem than it is to play NL. The swings aren't as large in limit if you have an edge over the competition. Consistency is key and you'll see steady gains if you can consistently play better than the opponents.
I would also suggest trying to play some of the PO freerolls to help pad the BR. This will also help with the NL fix you are seeking.
I would suggest dumping the limit game and go str8 to no limit. Limit is an excellent choice for higher stakes, but at micro your BR will probably get banged around like a pinball acheiving small gains for time committed.
I believe in a very conservative bankroll system. A proper buy-in would be 100x the big blind = $4. The buy in should only be 5% of your bankroll = $80 before jumping into a .02/.04 NL cash game.
I would wait until i got to 10 before i moved up. always make sure you have plenty of bankroll before moving to the next level.
Try 5 bucks, but if you start losing really quick, go back to limit hold em', or 11 cent sngs.
Play LH is verry complicated to play at NLH
i like limit holdem...never give all-in every idiots

i like holdem... but limited is bad :(
all depends on what levels ur playing.
limit = lol. the only way limit poker can be beaten is to play high stakes. 2/4 is unbeatable
I only like limit holdem.
Limit hold em, or any limit game has its advantages, and its disadvantages..depending on the other players ability, and yours.
I like limit cause you can never be all in.
raise then raise then re raise eventually all in. i like no limit, all in with crap and everyone folds.
Raise and reraise to protect your hand.
No Brainer,NLH is for people who do not know how to bet and depend mostly on luck. If all else fails or even if nothing fails, SHOVE!
You can pick out NLH players in any limit game very quickly cause all they do is call. Big Calling Statons. NLH players want to see the river period. Very easy to take advantage of, imo. JustSayn
I would wait until you get it built up to 10 or 15 bucks.
limit holdem is the most boring game alive lol....never play it, it sucks
U probably need atleast a $10 bankroll.
I'm only play no-limit hold'em..
I dont like limit games either, would rather take a chance to go allin whwn I het a good hand
I have never played a cash game like that but i should try
