HE is the best playing hu online.. i love him !!
He is a crazy genius. Alot of players play with their instincts and all of their reads at small stakes but he does it at large stakes as well because of his regard for money being none.

i do think he has no respect for money and definatly a aggresive player,but i think there are holes in his play,like everybody else,i hope to play with him someday soon
looks like shaun on ps is better then him he got 4 wins in the scoop, or this is just getting lucky? i guess ps pro's no the in and outs of the software.

I think he is a GENIUS. He has a great understanding for the play, and super at HU play. Love to whatch him play.
Viktor Blom is on a level that probably no one on this site could comprehend. Possibly only a few people in the entire world could watch him play and figure out his thought process consistently, without him explaining why he does what he does. Too many people lose sight of the variance that goes with poker, so they dont get why he does wild crazy moves, and they view it as lunacy or luck. What you have to keep in mind is that he knows that you know that he knows what you are thinking, so he will constantly play leveling games with you. He will shove mediocre to absolute trash cards in certain spots knowing that the probability of you risking your tournament life are 20-30 % or lower, thus giving him a huge edge at winning the hand by pure aggression. He makes more long term profitable plays, and is able to adjust to short term profitability just as equally, which is something very few have ever mastered.
In a nutshell what may seem like idiocy to you might be genius to him. The question I always pose to people that question his approach is, who are you to say whats right or wrong ? There is no right and wrong in his eyes, just better and/or worse ways to play hands. Once you catch onto that concept and employ it properly into your game you will start to understand a little more why what he does is absolute genius.

Isildur is obviously top five player in the world. Elky, Dwan, Ivey, Hansen, Galfond, Haxton, and maybe a couple other players are capable of playing @ Isildur's level. That is about the entire pool of players in his league. He will probably be playing in the $1 million tourney this summer. He is rumored to be bankrolled by Tony G. that would make sense, because he needs some-one as a backer because of his wild swings. In the end, any-one capable of winning 3 SCOOP's in a series is an absolute sicko.
Fact that he was backed by tony g when he started on ftp in 09. He is top 5 in the world, but you left out some names that you probably dont even know exist. Sam tricket, andy mosely, david eldar...I could name several others that are on very similar levels as blom.Quote:

i liked the video about him when he go all in with 100-200$ every hand with every card :D boosting other peoples bank roll was nice, since he got money :)
