best laydown in history. he could of easily lost most if not all his profit with that hand.
wow that was a very nice fold for him
Well he could also push all in with AA and try to steal the pot haha :)
pretty lucky laydown
AND THATS WHY THEY SAY IN ORDER TO BE A WINNING PLAYER (SRY FOR CAPS BUT IM NOT RESTARTINGlol) "you have to be able to fold aces to be a winning player"
the setting called for him to fold. he already had a lot of money. aa is no guarantee, and he knew he was overmatched in post flop play.
I saw this before, in fact I qualified to be on this show but Pokersatrs did not pass my video I gave them. This guy wanted to keep his money so he could keep the cash and win the poker tour package that came if he won the most money out of all the Big Game players. I would have folded also
I fold too so I can keep the money and the package from the win. The don't see nothing lucky about it.
i watched this shit hero fold and wihtout hesitation
great fold, thats poker for you, 1 hand can change it all..wow
what a nit, i would of atleast seen a flop, if you flop a set you get more money.
I don't think you can give the guy credit for being good and whatnot cause he folded Aces. Someone said it takes a great player to be able to fold Aces, this was not the case at all. He was just some dude who didn't want to chance losing money and taking down the profit plus the poker package that was put together. I think it is actually quite a sad play, if i were in the same boat, i woulda raised preflop, then thrown out another bet on the river, now considering circumstances, I would have folded after getting played back at with 2 6's out there, but I would at least have played poker, it is what you are there for.
you donk, this was no hero fold, if you watched the whole show when he hit a massive pot he told everyone he was going to fold every hand till the show was over, he decided to tell everyone he folded A-A and the rest did not believe him, there was side bet action after the show if he really had A-A
yea he was up over 100k.. and if he didnt phil laak woulda hit quads.. best fold ever in hold em poker history by far.
wow thats nuts i agree tho u push preflop n take it down
It was a smart disciplined fold ... he booked a win for life changing money.
It was smart for the discipline, not the results.
When I watched this clip I was thinking WTF who does that... Realized it was pot limit preflop, so Laak was calling with 66 regardless.
wow very nicwe lay down wow
I do not have a problem folding AA if it means winning.
Sometimes Gut feeling come into play also. he saved himself a TON of money by, having a gut feeling or settling for what he won. Either way its by far the best move he couldve made. beside Laak is likely to call with his 6's anyways if its pot limit
Yeah you probably right abwil2, Laak such an crazy player. :)
great fold
dont understand this guy which poker player folds AA?? crazy man
