Greetings , Americas Card Room brought me here, a few questions for you!

Hello everyone my name is Shawn Sunshine aka The Strickalator. I am an on again off again poker player who knows some things but really never quite got to a comfortable level where I could actually build a bank roll and make a regular profit on playing poker. In fact it has been more than frustrating. I can assure you I have made numerous deposits to a few casinos. Right now I am trying America's Card room. I saw that you were there in the tournaments section so i signed up here.

What I would like to know is how the free rolls work and how do you use your points to buy the $20 free rolls to get a password for them? Thats how it works right? However I see no way to buy one here using points.

What about the other tournaments like raketherake and such, after browsing the forums I see that they are linked in someway and you can play in those as a Poker Owned member, but I am confused as to how.

Also I would like to know about earning points. I see I can use my credit card to buy points. But I think it makes more sense to do the offers. Anyways I am not trying to just come here for free stuff and leave. I hope It doesnt look like that to you. Thanks for this great site!

Yep, read the guide. Most of your questions have already been asked somewhere in the forums. The freerolls you're seeing are the Black Chip Poker freerolls, they play on the same network.

Oh Black chip is americas card room network>? So if I buy Black Chip password it works on ACR too?

No, for now the $20 and $15 freerolls run on just BCP. But, the word is, Next month that will change. The will be upping the prize pool and running on both BCP and ACR.

BTW, if you don't have a BCP account yet you can sign up through PO and gain entry to the weekly 500 dollar freeroll

If you see them on ACR they may already be up then. I didn't realize. And the prize pools are scheduled to go up next month.

If you already have a BCP and a ACR account and neither are linked to RTR or PO, then yes, your are SOL.

ACR is getting better.....

I justrecently uploaded thesounds for Pokerstars to play at the ACR tables.....so it soundsjust like PS and reminds me of the good ol'days!!!

still no wherenear as good of MTTs as PS had.....ACR tournys kinda weak....

butthe OSS Events look pretty solid....might grind a few out if I gota solid roll at the time those start.

well when you least excpect it something wonderful happens!@ Thanks to Poker Owned i was able to partake and win 3 free rolls (one $15 at acr for 2nd place and one $40 for 6th and a $45 for 2nd place at Carbon Poker!!

Just when I didnt think it was possible here I was with a bank roll and had $7.18 left on Carbon (spent the acr though)

but i decided to try a scratcher for the heck of it (i know not poker lol) and here is what happen next:

Yeah i lost it back actually, i got greedy, still have my free roll wins though. :(
