If I have a stack and can get in cheap with something like 8-2 or 9-3 suited (e.g., being on the button or in one of the blinds), I like to take that chance - if you don't hit (admittedly, this is the highest probability), you can get out without much sacrifice. If you hit big, nobody expectes it. There is a danger that someone else has the bigger (flush, boat, 2pr, etc), but that's part of the gamble.
But those definitely aren't my favorite hands by any means. I think I have only one, and it's mundane - AA every time.
