AK is a great hand to try and see a flop with but you should be prepared to lay it down if you don't hit. AK gets beat by a lot of hands.

Agreed. AK is a situational hand. It's a great starting hand, and pefectly fine to go all-in with when you have your oponent(s) well covered, or you have position and want to flex your muscles vs players you know to be a bit soft. Otherwise, handle with care as you can be beaten by even a low pair.
