my percentages are about even but more losses than wins hate the AA
maybe the odds calculator are wrong, AA was not the best preflop pair.KK was not the second.
AA x AK(AK best hand or 1010,JJ,QQ,KK) KK x Arag(A rag best hand)
If u play on merge network AA loses like 7/10 times, its almost funny how often it loses.
Just don't play them like they are the unbeatable pockets. Isn't there a 43ish % chance of an opponent hitting two pair? Just play the hand like it's just another hand
Just go all in preflop and you will win 80% of the time.
Anyone who says they hate AA will be a loser overtime, its the best hand.
Ps. Im not trying to sound like an asshole or anything, I'll take AA every hand, at least that means I am always ahead at some point
lmao..yeah....AA is funny ...... :D
I find that when I wear my tinfoil hat my AA seems to hold up more because the opponents can't read my mind anymore with their trickery.
I'll take AA every hand too lol!! You just are more prone to lose a big pot with rockets.
On a real note.. AA is the best hand preflop, but it is only one pair until the flop comes. Most people who lose with aces over value it; or play it stoopidy by limping in preflop after 20 other limpers... and when the flop comes KKK or 789 or whatever and someone goes all-in and the person with aces calls and loses to quads or a straight and then says, "ahhhh aces never win!?!?".
what you are saying its not true, the thing is that the only times you remember is when you loose with AA, but when you win (which are most of the times) you don't get surprised because you think it has to be always like that
Of course pre-flop AA is the best, highest starting hand that percentage wise is likely to win often. However I have seen it get cracked several times as well and although it's hard to fold I have done it several times and ultimately it was a good fold nonetheless. Best of luck to you. I personally don't much care for pocket aces.
Win a small pot or lose a big one normally but you can also win MONSTER pots when your up agains AK or KK
Just don't play them like they are the unbeatable pockets. Isn't there a 43ish % chance of an opponent hitting two pair? Just play the hand like it's just another hand
Wow MspokerVerse, you've folded Aces preflop. It must've been against multiple opponents like 5 and up I guess.
The only time its a good fold with AA pre is when there is 4-5 allins in a satellite where you are 1-2 away from the money.
No matter what would have happened with the cards is irrelevant. Poker is all decision based, Being results oriented with only cause you to be a losing player over time
This is spot on but it doesnt even have to be that dramatic. Say there are 52 left and 50 spots get the satellite seat. You are in 4th and the chip leader goes AIPF and you have AA. This is a fold 100% of the time. Outside of something like that, never folding preflop.
Id bet a good percentage of these hands your losing with AA are postflop when you should have folded but didnt. Good players can fold AA in the right spots and move on. Its a big leak if you cant/dont.
AA pre flop is is huge.....After the flop with no ace on board AA are a 33% dog......
AA are rags to riches all the way ...every time......Take AA over AK anyday and twice on sunday.......
mark it down everytime you get AA whether you win or lose.... It is a great hand and wins more than loses....Its just that everyone goes all in with them so when they do lose they remember it cause it costs them their tourney life
I lost today with AA... and I have won with them. But for me I would take 6♦7♦ over AA anyday of the week!

Sucks to lose with AA but you have to remember it is just a pair... If someone shoves before you and you have AA well you cant lay it down that is for sure...
AA is only as good as the board makes it and they can be same as 27
AA the most risk hand you can get :D
Noone know how to play it best or good
Just because of this thread, I looked up my stats that I have on this computer. 1288 times I have gotten AA across all sites, all games etc. Ive won 1014 of those hands, or just about 79%. AA vs. any two random cards is about a 85% favorite, so if anything I am running slightly below expectation. Anyone who thinks they lose more than their share with AA only thinks that because so many times, losing with AA costs your your tournament life.
He is wrong. I believe that AA is the biggest dog post flop against two randoms if the flop is 789 all suited and you dont have the A of that suit. And even still you are a 60/40 fav against two randoms. Let me say that again before someone misreads that and quotes me on it. That is assuming your opponents range is any two cards. Obv a 555 flop when your opponent has 45 is a different story, but against two random cards, you cant be worse than a 60/40 fav postflop with AA.
Preflop, the best chance against AA is 98 suited when one of the AA isnt that suit. Thats still a 78/22 fav for the AA so yeah..... Ill take aces anytime. Just learn not to overplay them like I imagine most of those in this thread are doing.
