It's funny because I live in Spain who are the current European and World Cup champions in men's soccer. I mentioned to a friend that the USA might join them atop the standings in soccer, albeit women's and he laughed. It's funny how popular soccer is here for men, but I rarely see women playing the game. In fact, Spain is the best of the world in the men's version of the game, their women's team did not even make it to play in pool round.
