yea shawshank redemption is always a great movie to watch...can never go wrong with that one
thats a hard thing to say mine would be to hard to come up with
the best film ever is dumb and dumber :)
al pacino in godfather or in godfather 2?i dont know maybe boths.
Pulp Fiction is my all time favorite, but I don't think anyone can argue The Godfather or Schindlers List being considered best ever.

Django was definitely too cheesy. But Leonardo's character was great.
"To Kill a Mockingbird" - sadly, the theme is still pertinent today, the acting is excellent, and it is perhaps the best one ever in terms of actually matching the book from which it is derived.
Actually I really like Death Proof. I haven't seen Inglorious Basterds so I'll have to get it. Django was cheesy, but it was fun to watch.Quote:

There are a lot of great answers up here. Fight Club was the first one that popped into my mind. When I saw Shawshank I immediately thought that was a great answer. I've always said that the long movies always seem to be very good. Fight Club, Braveheart, Titanic, Forest Gump, Ect...
Shawshank redemption is an amazing movie, figured i'd put my two cents in here.
a south korean gem called, "the man from nowhere" great action/story and is quite touching.
I liked Gladiator, long great plot, great action, well put together throughout. Old School is just funny all the way through in the comedy genre. Will Ferrell is always great. I thought Bad Boys 2 was great comedy and action movie too. Just too many good movies out there to name just one.

Its never actually gonna be decided that one movie will reign over all the rest but a couple of my nominees are; The Shawshank Redemption, The Patriot, and my favorite ever Dumb and Dumber even though im sure it probably wouldnt rank anywhere near the top but it still is great.
