there is no doubt that godfather series is best ... but which is better 1st or 2nd????
Don't forget Scarface! One of the best of the oldies. And as far as the Godfathers, 2nd for sure.
There are many threads about this topic, but no one mentioned the film: "Once upon a time in America". I think it's great, and it was made by one of the greatest directors ever, Sergio Leone.
